Living in the city with minimal closet space, I’ve bought this rack a few times before. It’s affordable and easy to put together. Does the bottom sometimes fall apart? Yup. Do you have to use a rubber mallet to get the top part to stay in place? Yup. Do the wheels randomly fall off? Yup. But it’s sturdy and these racks have held hundreds of pounds of clothes for many years. I’ve never had to replace them, I’ve simply bought more because I love clothes. If you’re on the fence, buy this rack. Just have a rubber mallet handy. Read more

There is no way to secure the plastic rods in the holes so the thing is stable and stays put. The thing turned into my worst nigthmare while I was at a vending event. I already didn't feel confident as it was leaning before I left the house. My husband had the rods in tighter than I could get them but it still felt flimsy as if it would give out at the slightest touch. I had clothing on it at the event. It began to lean and almost topple over. We had to catch it several times before clothing toppled on the floor. We tried to lean it against the wall to hold it up. That didn't work. We tried putting a heavy chair anchored against it to hold it up. It did nothing for it but made my setup look ridiculous. It still leaned! Lastly we propped boxes on the plastic at the bottom to hold it. That did nothing to stop the top and sides from leaning. There is nothing to make this thing steady or stable. When it almost feil on a potential customer looking at clothing hanging on it, I ended up taking all the clothing off and trashing it at the event, as you can see in the image. I had brought another rack I purchased 2 years ago to use for hanging my models garment bags. They were to model my clothing at the event. I had to rob them of it, because I had nothing to showcase the clothes i needed to hang. The thing really stressed me out, and I had way bigger fish to fry, keeping things in order at the event. It was my first day taking it out the box. It's a throw away item straight out the box, along with if you want to throw away your money. Don't buy unless you like your blood pressure at high numbers. I bought this hanging rack in order to separate out a batch of clothes that I am attempting to sell, mostly dresses. It's not too big, so it fits right in my room, but would be great for a garage space if you're trying to clear a little bit out of your closet. It's extremely easy to put together, but it is a tad flimsy, so you can't hang a lot on it. It's tipped over once or twice, but I had clearly overloaded it with clothing. You just have to test it's limits and you'll quickly figure out what you can and can't hang on it.. doesn't take long for it to tell you that it's got too much weight on there! Definitely wouldn't recommend for heavy coats or bags, but I've been satisfied for the purpose I bought it for. Works great for it's price point. Read more
Clothes rack is decent. Was easy to assemble, fits nicely in the spot I need it for. It is not very sturdy and doesn't move well. When you move it you worry it is going to break. But it holds the clothes well and performs fine as long as you don't try to move it around. Read more

I’ve had this garment rack for about three and a half months now and I would not recommend it. Assembling it was extremely easy and it was nice and light getting the package into my apartment. It does look nicer than some racks I’ve seen, but unfortunately, my praise stops there. The rack is extremely unstable. I have ensured that the weight is evenly distributed and even but a weight on the bottom (I don’t have the wheels on). But unfortunately, it still falls over quite often. I also find that it tilts for a while and then if you try to steady it and readjust it, it will completely topple over. Today I came home to find the rack fell, all of my clothes were on the floor and the weight I had added to the bottom in an attempt to stabilize it had moved quite a bit in the fall. Less than 15 minutes after putting everything back, it fell again. Maybe this would be good for someone who is using it more temporarily or with less items, but if you’re looking to use it full time and have it even slightly full, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
