While these wide toe, mini shaft, snow boots arrived exactly as pictured, they were not quite what I expected. They are quite clunky because of the plastic platform bottom. Also, because of the sole, they are hard and not as comfortable as I had hoped. The "suede" seems nice, even after weatherproofing. They aren't too heavy, thankfully. These platform mini boots are kind of misleading because they are called snow boots, but they are not waterproof at all, just a warning. It does say that in the description, so I won't take a star away. Now on to the review: I like these boots. I like the grippiness of the sole and the height. They are comfortable to wear while shopping or working, but I did find that they hurt my feet if I wear them several days in a row. They are a little stiff, so I think that has something to do with it. The toes are very roomy, which I like. They are very warm on these 30-40 degree (f) days. They look very cute with flare jeans and leggings. They feel well made and durable. I try not to wear them on rainy days, not that we've had many recently. Overall, I'm happy with this ankle boots.
