I absolutely love my WiFi Outdoor Smart Plug! I have it set up to control the lights in my chicken coop, a pump for my pool cover, a heater, Christmas lights, and the pool filter in the summer. It's so convenient to be able to control all of these devices from my phone or Alexa. It has saved me from burning up another pump and forgetting to turn it off once that water is removed from the cover. The Smart Home app works flawlessly, and the setup was a breeze. I especially appreciate the ability to turn on the whole outlet or each one via the timer or automatic routine. I was tired of the old school mechanical timers that if a storm comes through and knocks the power out it jacks with the timing on them. This has worked wonderfully and I used it for my halloween inflatables and I am not using it for my Christmas lights and inflatables. I have many other smart plugs and lights that are part of the Smart Life app eco family. I have tried other name brands and none of them work as well as anything thats compatible with Smart Life. What I like: Case seems rugged enough and appears to be watertight. Pairs seemlessly. Alexa controls work without hiccups. What could be better: The case's power button only allows for both outlets to be toggled together. No cover or plugs included for an unused outlet(s). No-fuss pairing to my network, using a generic iOS app. I was able to individually name each of the two outlets, plus a name for the box itself. So, it is possible to control both outlets together, or individually, using software. this applies to Alexa operation as well. I think the box is weather tight to environmental moisture and light rain, provided you mount the device with the outlets facing downward, so gravity will trip off moisture from the case. However, there are no covers or gaskets for the two outlets. They are open to air and moisture. So, choose your installation / mounting location with this in mind. Don't try immersion, the outlets are not blocked to water / liquid. With the absence of gaskets for the outlets, or a cover , I deduct one star = four stars. Read more
