This is really a nice stuffed animal toy. It is realistic enough that it tricked our family dog, and he wouldn’t stop barking at it. It’s extremely soft and nice to pet. Its tail is really bushy and realistic feeling. I will be giving it to my niece for her second birthday so I’ll have to see how she likes it. But I bought another wolf plush that was smaller for her first Christmas from this brand and she doesn’t like going anywhere without it now, so I’m confident this one will be popular as well. This product comes in a plastic bag, inside a large box. You may want to unbox, unbag, then wrap back up to give to a child for the holidays, I know I do. I might also paint the box more like a wooden crate of some kind, we'll see. Sadly, this plushie / soft toy is NOT soft. The fiber feels rough and sort of plastic to me, like when I was a kid in the 80s and polyester used to be the most horrible feeling material. Since it's a wolf toy, and it is for my nephews, I'm not going to send this back. Maybe we can just say wolves are not as soft as dogs. The toy wolf ears were smashed back flat against the head in transit. I was able to get them to point up again after I unboxed it, and will try to pack it more carefully to send for Christmas. It's a great size! It's about as big as my red heeler, who weighs about 50 pounds, I was impressed. It's pretty realistic looking. My dog growled at it when I showed it to him, till he figured out it was just a soft toy. Then he wanted to softly mouth it and see if it was for him to play with. Nope, sorry buddy. Well so far so good, it's beautiful! I just got this yesterday, it's a Christmas present (it's December 10th), so I've looked at it, I haven't gone over it with a fine toothed comb and I can't attest to it's durability, but I can say it looks very lifelike, it's soft, it's big ( would fully cover the end of a twin sized bed, one side to the other), and it doesn't have any smell. I want to clarify something..... I ordered a white tiger first from this same company/seller (Cuddlekins/amazon) and received a white sausage with feet and a head, and greasy crayon drawn on stripes ( see my review), I say "sausage" because it was "tube-shaped" not at all like a body, with shoulders, rib cage area, abdomain, and hind leg (hips). So as you can imagine I was worried about ordering this, but with my Prime, free shipping and no hassle free returns, and plenty of time until Christmas, I took a chance. I'm glad I did, it definitely has a "body shape" not that you can count the ribs, but that you see it as a lifelike body profile. The coat (fur) is a very well done proportion of a mixture of colors, individual hairs, and it has a sweet (but not cartoonish) face and a fluffy tail. It's too beautiful to wrap and it's going to look natural and majestic under the tree. If I remember, I'll update next year a month or two before Christmas as to its durability, and I'm happy to answer any questions. Read more
