Best little sleeping bag ever had!

The media could not be loaded. Strong quality zippers nice soft strong material perfect weight. The material thickness is evenly distributed and is lightweight for warmer weather. We like the size they’re really long and have enough width as well when zipped up. My husband is 6 foot tall and 150 pounds I’m 5‘4“ and 160 pounds. We still had plenty of room to move around. I feel we can store these in their compression sack year-round because they are so thin. I wasn’t able to roll mine up and get it back in the compression sack. I instead opened it up shoved it back in evenly keeping zippers at bag opening and it worked out fine. These are going to be perfect for hammock camping in the warmer weather. We took these car camping mid April in Kentucky lower 50s we had our windows down halfway and I still got hot! Couldn’t use my liner and used WILDROOTS bag as a blanket instead. Slept comfortably and stayed cool all night, even though as lightweight and as thin as they are, they’re still nice soft quality material and warm. We love them! We have a couple 30° down bags for winter car/tent camping and these WILDROOTS bags are mostly every bit as quality material and as well made as those are. We bought three altogether. I use one for a regular blanket to sleep with it night cause I get hot. The other two stay in our car camping /hammock camping gear. I snagged one with my ring and was able to pull on the material and fix the snag. They’re so affordable at $13 a piece on sale. I’m not really going to worry about if anything happens to them seeing as I can afford to replace them. Going to get a couple more when we can for our grown man babies! Which I’m having a hard time keeping them away from them as it is. Especially our youngest man . He goes to festivals and I already know one is going to go to him for that. Update 5/2/25 After using a few times, the bags are definitely holding up, but realized they’re pretty narrow. I put a pic of my husband standing up in the black one. He’s got a 29 inch waist, I’ve got a 33 inch waist and I wouldn’t wanna go any smaller. Also, the green is more like an army color green, not a neon green. The compression storage bags they come with I’ve already stuffed mine in compression storage bag a few times and they’re holding up incredibly well. The WILDROOTS bags in our car are stored with a 4L sea to summit dry stack fits perfect. Thanks, hope review helps. Read more

Does the job if …

Why five stars? For the quality of the product it has earned the stars. The zipper, material, weight, carrier, and purpose for, as the label says, handles 50’s and above weather. Two tips: the bag is not a fold and fill the storage bag type of gear. To return it to its storage sack loosen the straps. Stand with the bag between knees. From an edge begin shoving the sleeping bag into the holder. From one corner keep shoving more and more deep into the storage bag. Then, once it’s all inside synch the sack at the opening until it’s closed. Then, tighten the four straps gently. Until snug. The second recommend, the bag needs to breathe, for storage leave inflated, fluffed, and hung. On a hanger is fine. In the closet. If washed make sure to fully dry up hung then store hanging. Insert to bag when traveling for use. Reason’s you may not like this product and need to spend more, the length, width, or need for an all weather option. I’m 5’9 1/2” and about 145 pounds. Slender fit build. This bag is okay, but not optimal for movement. It works for the Jeep RV vibe on the bed that fits half the rear of the vehicle without a seat installed. If you are tall or not slender may find this bag confining. It is my experience this bag is easy to use, comfortable, and warm enough when the windows are opened and it’s in the fifties. If in a vehicle and it’s cool out and you need a bit more warmth without a heater use a hand warmer activated in the bag coupled with wool socks. Another hack, wear snow pants and a faux fur hoodie. Amazon has a great hoodie option with or without a zipper. All in all for $20 this bag is awesome. If you want wider and longer go with a bag twice the cost. This would be a wonderful children’s bag or for anyone shorter than me. I prefer a bag that the pillow can rest on. This sleeper allows this with no room for sleep rolls and moves. By the morning my arm is no longer covered by the bag. I sleep on my back and side. This bag allows for easy side sleeping but not for stretched out, for me. All in all I kept the bag for my Jeep RV build. When the bed is elongated it fits well. When the bed is in bench mode the bag fits the width of the seat and if we put it away in the bag tucks into our storage set up easy peasy. If you’re a hiker and need a light weight sleeping bag this one pounder is a win, imo. Hope this review was helpful Read more

Packable seasonal sleeping bag

The material of this sleeping bag is super lite. As an avid camper I would say it's best for overnight temps above 50. It's easy to put it back in the sack it comes in or you can fold it up for backpacking. Totally unzip it for a picnic blanket or add to your tent covers. Definitely put on a lite washing cycle and air dry. We gave several of these away at our community outreach. Read more

Lightweight, durable sleeping bag for warm night camping.

I used this sleeping bag for several backpacking trip this season and overall I liked it and deserve 5 star, but as the product description indicates it is intended for over 50F degree. I used it once in a cold night that temp went down to 38F and it was really cold and felt a bit miserable. For nights that temp went down to around 45F it felt chilly but doable. Nights with temp over 50F it was totally fine. Overall light weight and durable and perfect for warm night camping. Oh size wise it can be a bit smaller for a big person; I am 6ft2 and 210lb and I was able to fit in but I wished it is a bit bigger when it was cold and I wanted my body from face to toe to be completely covered by the sleeping bag. Not for large individuals.

This is not for large individuals. I'm 6'2 245lbs and I barely fit into this. Imaging a body sized sock. That's how it feels. Zero room for maneuvering. A small framed person may like this. Read more

Might as well be a trash bag

Thin, flimsy, and did not retain any heat. This is advertised for 3 seasons, but it would only do in the summer - and even then, it is so thin an uncomfrotable that you'd be better off with a blanket. This was used with an inflatable sleeping mat and I can't imagine using it without one. At $15, it is not worth the cost unless you're using this for a photoshoot. Read more
