This lamp is SO fun! You can create the coolest custom lamp with bottles you already have (re-using: YAY!) in your home- Empty or unopened. I am thinking about even adding sting light to the inside of the bottle in addition to having the wireless bottle lamp on top. I am an interior designer who upcycle furniture/decor and this lamp has given me so much inspiration for future projects. I am impressed with the look of the lamp material. Although it is plastic, it looks like wood and it has the exact color I was looking for. I purchased four similar touch-lamps from three different companies, and this far exceeded the others in terms of looking high-end. I live in Hawaii and we have frequent power outages, A few nights ago the neighborhood went dark, and I was so excited to turn on all my new touch-lamps and cozy up in the warm ambiance, so much so that I was bummed when the power came back two hours later. Fit: The lamp fits most bottle-caps and wine-corks. You don't even have to unscrew the cap to use this lamp, contrary to two of the other lamps I purchased (which came attached to a wine stopper), making this model very versatile. The bottom of the lamp that connects to the bottle caps feels like silicon, making it flexible to different sized bottle necks and it also makes sure the lamp is sturdy and won't tilt. The touch-function is sensitive and responds immediately when you tap the top. Tap once for low light, once again for brighter ambience and then the third time for the brightest setting. I like the ambiance it creates, however I wish the brightest setting was slightly brighter. I appreciate any electronic device that do not require separate batteries, and can be charged with a USB-C cord. That being said, I wish the battery would hold the charge longer. After two hours or so it dims significantly and I wish it had the three different light temperatures that other similar lamps provide. If I remember it to charge it at night, I'm good to go the following day. This lamp have three different brightnesses, however not a dimming function or multiple temperature settings, and the battery could last longer, hence the 4 stars. Over all, I DO recommend this lamp for the esthetics of it, and for creating a beautiful ambiance as an add-on to exciting lighting.
