Hard to Unroll... but may be just what you need.
This product is very difficult to unroll, but not too bad if you have a hair dryer to get it started. To unroll this, pull it out of the box and use a hair dryer to soften up the plastic. 1) Put it on a stone countertop and aim your hair dryer down the rolled up product for 5 to 10 minutes. This just makes it so you can get it unrolled after step 2. 2) While still on the stone countertop, blow air across the outside of the roll until you can start to unroll the mat. 3) Turn off the hair dryer and find a space on your carpeted floor... the roll should be soft enough so that you can now "fight with the roll" as you unroll it. (if you don't do steps 1 and 2, you may as well drop it in a trash can.) Unroll the first few inches enough that you can unroll it and put your knees on the edge to pin it to the floor, then with both hands, unroll the mat the rest of the way. The carpet and spikes on the bottom of the mat will keep it pinned to the floor as you unroll it. 4) Stand up and walk on it until you get it mosty flattened out. 5) Leave it on the floor with a few heavy things on it for at least 3 or 4 hours. So why 5 stars? Because it's small enough to exactly fit my needs and it's cheap. It should last for 4 or 5 years at least. I admire that it absolutely CAN be unrolled and yet stuffed into such a small box. This was delivered to my home when the temperature was around 47F; I have to believe it would be easier yet to unroll in the summer season. Unrolling this product took me minimal effort and a few minutes. Installed quite nicely and looks good. Read more
