I purchased these boots for my birthday vacation. When I received them, I packed them in my luggage. On the day of my birthday celebration, I went to put on my boots, but as soon as I applied pressure to stand, I was struck with severe pain from two nails that had apparently gone through the sole of the boot. I immediately screamed and needed help to take them off. This experience was horrible and extremely painful.
