I am thrilled to say it works as well if not better than my original Apple charge case. A few weeks ago, walking from grocery or putting groceries away, I lost my charge case. You can’t track just the charge case if tye buds aren’t in them (first generation). So, after beating myself up for such negligence of one of my favorite/most used gadgets- I reluctantly bought this charge case. Expecting it not to work - you can imagine my delight when it works perfectly. It came recharged- so I was back in sound quickly. Only con- my phone does not show it. So, I can’t check battery life for case. Still shows battery life for my buds. Pros- no install needed. EarPods pair with bud not the case in order to work. I swear they charge faster in the new case but perhaps that’s because it’s new. I cannot speak for any other generation. I love my first gen so much that I never upgraded. Read more

Unlike a lot of aftermarket, offbrand products to replace Apple items, this one looks feels and behaves just like the real thing. Connection to my phone was simple, it charges the AirPods just as well as the original factory case, and I haven’t gotten any kind of weird errors about it not being a genuine Apple products… I’ve been using them for about two weeks now and have zero complaints.
