This is my first mini projector, tube type. My other projectors have been huge contraptions with hot bulbs, requiring a large case and more setup time. For my needs, this Besus-branded mini projector is decent enough, especially at this price point. The picture is clear and legible enough to read the wording on-screen (ceiling in my case) and easy to focus on on the fly. Sound is average for a tiny speaker setup in rattle plastic. I prefer to run my picture through HDMI and my sound through an alternative source. I cannot say how this projector does with a screen. My screen never arrived (from a different vendor), so I'm using my white walls. I want to use the whiter ceiling, but that's going to require a 90° HDMI connector or some type of holder/mount. That's my only complaint about this product. There isn't clearance between the connectors and the base plate for standard cabling if I want to aim straight up. But I'm sure they're all like this, so I'm still giving this projector 5 stars. Easy to use, plug-and-play operation, value priced, adjustable focus, and a picture that looks better the further away the projector is (especially vivid in a pitch-black room), portability and the added bonus of a remote sums up my opinions of this sweet little projector! I mean it turns on, it projects, I got it to play TikTok but if you play a video on any kind of streaming app it’ll just be a black screen or an error message(including YouTube!). Doesn’t have apps. Delivered today, boxed to return today. Plus it’s pretty blurry and the screen doesn’t sit straight. IT ISNT LICENSED! Nothing is going to play on it. Works great I love I bought two and use one to play my Xbox and playstation, the sound could be better, the brightness is good, the remote Control could have came with batteries, the size is great and convenient, I’ve honestly kicked it a few times on accident and it still works great so the durability it’s great, the movie viewing is awesome Read more
It’s not the greatest but I will say it is decent for the price. It does get hot pretty quickly but stick a fan near it and it’ll be fine. It does get a little finicky with the wireless connection so I say wired is better. One thing that upset me is that I can’t watch Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, or Crunchyroll on it, when I try it doesn’t play the videos. YouTube works great though and you can find websites to watch movies, shows, and animes on. The volume can also be tricky too. On one YouTube video the highest volume was way too loud, but on others it wasn’t loud enough. And same with some shows and movies, the highest volume will be enough and others not. So I will say it is a great starter projector if you mainly want to download movies onto the projector or use YouTube and it does work decently, but if you’re expecting to watch Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+ on it I would suggest buying a different one. Got the regular not the mate. Bought this so I could ditch the TV and have a bigger screen size for playing my favorite games. Unfortunately I plugged my Xbox in with multiple HDMI cables and it didn’t connect. Other functions were fine, picture quality was ok from what I could tell and it would have been the perfect size to take with me on trips. The price was good and I’m definitely disappointed it didn’t work for what I wanted to do with it. I’m off to console myself with sweet rolls and stealth archer shenanigans. Read more
I would suggest this item for crafts only. If you’re using this for watching TV streaming it has low volume the projector is quite loud and the screen goes bad quickly. I’ve had two and less than four months and I can’t get a replacement for the second one so that kind of was changed lost video quality decent but fuzzy Read more
This projector would be great, if it wasn’t for the screen being manufactured crooked. I will be returning it because of this. Unfortunately, because the screen is slightly crooked so I’m having to set the projector on something to level out the screen. When you first turn it on it’s extremely blurry, that can be fixed by twisting the lens. However, when twisting the lens (like you would a camera lens,) there was a loose sliver of metal, glass, or plastic on it that was not visible until it was in my finger. I had to remove that with tweezers, not fun. The main issue I have with this item is that there is no room to plug the cords in and watch the projector on the ceiling. The power cord, hdmi, and the usb cords block the stand from being able to move freely, which means your projector is stuck at an angle. Otherwise, the sound is great, and the picture is pretty good. Remote control is great, also. It’s okay as far as portability goes, but you still have to have it plugged in to a power source, so you can’t exactly take it outside and use it.
