Potty training fun!

My kid LOVES these for a potty training reward. They've been the best investment with getting that last push we needed to get him putting regularly and on his own (as in we aren't having to ask as often because he's trying regularly because he wants a wizzy fizzy). So fun and such a great alternative to special snacks/screen time. Read more

These Helped! But let me help you further!

Potty training is tough, here’s my hopefully helpful advice with these. I thought I was well prepared to potty train my child, had the chart, some books, rewards. Anything I thought that would help or motivate and support successful outcomes, I was ready or so I thought. My kid didn’t care for any of it though. I was at a loss until I bought these. She was naturally curious about the fuzziness and color aspect of the Wizzy Fizzies. She began to request one after every potty occurrence. What helped even further though was how I used them. I saw some comments when I purchased that sounded like some parents still had trouble. After my initial used I too noticed some of those issues but I figured out what worked best (for us), so hopefully my experience will help other parents too. The ground rules. 1) I told my daughter that she would only get a star if she successfully did a poop in the potty (not for pee as this was more common and a little easier to achieve). This was the most important step as it established a cause and effect. She was allowed to choose the color. 2) We also made it clear that she would get two stars if the poop was of large quantity. This gave her something to works towards especially in the beginning as she would eagerly stand as soon as anything was expelled. She was allowed to choose the colors. 3) I gave her the task of holding and tossing the stars into the water. I think this made it more meaningful for her. Which also reinforced the desire to do it again. These are some tips I noticed based on others feedback. 1) I noticed that dumping the stars directly into the toilet would cause them to sink into the back drain of the toilet where they could not be seen (may vary toilet to toilet), so we placed a bit of folded toilet paper on top of the water which allowed us to place the star on top so it wouldn’t sink. It allowed the star to fizz at the very top in easy view. 2) To avoid my kid grabbing onto the toilet seat and stare into a toilet filled with her poo and pee, I grabbed one of those large transparent takeout cups. We fill this 1/2 way and she dumps the star into that. This actually works out best because my she gets excited and a close up view of the stars fizzing from both the top and sides as they change the color of the water in the cup. I also grant her the task of pouring it into the toilet to keep that meaningful part of the act going before flushing it all away. 3) This might just be me, but I think these work (fizz) better with hot water rather than cold Read more

Not much fun

For us these did not compare fun wise to the circular targets. The tablets sink in the toilet so you can hardly see them. They are a bit dusty and messy to take out of the container. They do not fizz. Only leave a little color. I do however, highly recommend the little circle targets. Those add a lot of fun to potty training Read more

Potty training MUST HAVE!!

The media could not be loaded. What an incredible idea to get kids excited to use the potty! I absolutely love that this potty training tool is a sugar-free motivator for toddlers and they actually get the reward WHILE they are learning the new skill, not after! Super effective, kids love the different colors, and it’s compact enough to pop in your purse or diaper bag on the go! Brilliant! Potty training must have! Do not hesitate to buy - would 100% recommend! Read more

my son loves the color changing

This really did help my son with potty training. Though I wish I could get away with just giving him 1 for pee and 2 for poo.... he always wants more because he wants to see the colors mixing. And these are expensive for the number of them in a container. I needed more in a hurry since I had forgotten to order more before we ran out and while I was waiting to get these, I had also ordered another product that is for baths (changing the water color for the bath). And it turns out those were even better than these. They are more vibrant in color and fizz more, plus a container has way more product than this one. Read more

Great idea

I thought these would be great for potty training and motivate my daughter. She is pretty indifferent though, so that is a bummer. I was worried about other reviews saying they were not very colorful in the water, that has not been our experience at all, I think they work very well, just maybe not going to be what works for us. Great product but expensive

Game changer for us. My 2 1/2 year old potty trained early but then started with holding. He didn’t want to stop playing to go potty & would hold it for way too long & only go when he was bursting 2-3 times per day. We tried treats & temporary tattoos & other “rewards” but the only worked occasionally. Since we started using these all we have to do is ask what color star he wants to put in the potty & he runs to it. We put the star in first & watch it color the water then he eagerly sits on the potty & goes to see what color it will change to. Now he will go 4-5 times a day. My only negative is that they are expensive for how many come in the package, especially since you use more than one sometimes to mix colors. Read more
