The media could not be loaded. An amazing product from Wolf Tactical. I have the first version of their plate carrier weight vest which is durable and fits well. This new version of the vest is similar, very high quality and durable with some new developments that make it stand out. The first is a quick release system that makes it really easy to put on and to take it off. The buckles are super solid even while trail running or doing high knees. This version of the plate carrier is a bit more compact than the first and the weight plates fit really well inside the vest. I use the vest to add weight to my workouts doing lunges, squats, push-ups. ect and I take it out on trail runs and hikes. I don't have any issues with the vest bouncing or shifting and it feels comfortable even during tough workouts. I definitely recommend checking this vest out if you're looking for a quality and reliable plate carrier. Read more
5'7", 165 lbs, fat, 40" chest, 36" at the belly button. It fits me will, nice and snug. Easy movements for pullups. Doesn't slide when doing push ups and burpees. Quick release buckle sometimes comes undone accidentally mid workout. But it's a blessing when I just want to get it off quick. Fits curved plate well. Not enough room to stack 2 plates in each pocket. Read more
Great plate carrier. Not for bigger chests.Stripped down it works great at the gym or while hiking with some weighted plates. Replacing the weighted plates with my lvl III ballistic plates makes this a good carrier to have at the range. The upper molle is stretchy and made of Velcro, so it’s good for patches and the bottom molle as well as the molle in the back is sturdy and can hold magazine pouches easily. That being said; It fits nice and snug with my skin/slender physic, but could be a bit tight for bulkier chests or women with large cup sizes. Read more
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Amazing quality, stays tight while training and even running. A bit pricey but last a long time and is great quality. Read more
I've used ~6 different manufacturers vests. This vest is a great fit for someone with a small frame. I'm 5'6", 148lbs. Most other vests are bulky and have a lot of extra unnecessary material. Other vests might be better for actual combat but if you're just using Rogue or similar plates to workout, this vest is optimal. It's also not harsh against bare skin. Most other vests I've used will scrape my skin until I bleed. This one has not. The one thing I should address because someone else gave it a low rating for this is the buckles. They are surprisingly lite duty and I was let down when i received mine. But after significant use they've held up well. They're actually hard enough to get off when you're done then they are to disconnect on their own unintentionally. The only reason I didn't give this vest 5 stars is because it is a little expensive. All of these vests are marked up way too high. Sell these for $50 Read more
This vest has changed my morning routine. I have noticed significant effects in my core strength and muscle tone from walking 2-4 miles with my dog while wearing this vest and 30LBs of weight. I recently upped the weight to 40 LBs a couple weeks ago and definitely notice the difference. The vest is on the more expensive end for fitness vests, but works great and fits like a glove. It does look very tactical and over the summer when I wore it over the top of my t shirt, my neighbors would ask me if I was wearing a bulletproof vest. Be ready for those questions. Warning - If you accidentally smack yourself in the nose while putting on the vest it will really hurt! Read more
Starting off , color of vest is great . The black is black and the other colors follow suit. Very comfortable worn on long hikes easily adjustable. Plates slid in very nicely. Metal “buckle” (if you wanna call it a buckle) is amazing , lock in so easy and unlatches just the same . Definitely buying more plates and maybe another vest. Just from the time I have had it , it feels like it will last a lifetime. Price was not bad either . I don’t know much about weight vests but I think I got lucky and picked right. I use mine for firefighter training . Read more
Overall the best seems to be very poorly designed affecting user experience quite a bit. The weights are difficult to insert. The clips are extremely janky and prone to both sticking and popping out randomly. And side straps don’t seem to be the right size making it hard to secure one side after the other is attached. I’m a pretty average size but maybe they designed it with a very VERY particular body type in size…as opposed to making it one size fits all. Very disappointing given how expensive this is. Will likely wind up in the trash given how frustrating this is to use. Read more
