I don't often consider my belts. Rarely do I think of them as fashion accessories but more so simply functional items. So when I get a new belt it is a bit of an occasion for me. When I saw this good looking belt I thought it is about time for a tectonic shift. So I ordered it and promptly forgot I did. When it arrived I was surprised as it came in a small rectangular box with a brand name I had forgotten. But once I opened it, I was delighted with the contents. It is a little larger than I expected at 1.5”. More “there” than most belts I have had. It makes its presence known. This is not necessarily a bad thing, just something I will become accustomed to. Made of Top Full Grain Leather (I thought top grain and full grain were two different things. One has been sanded and buffed to remove imperfections; the other is distinct with a more pronounced grain.) the belt is very simple. Tan with a dark edge, it has no motifs or designs on it. Even the silver metal buckle is unadorned except for a bit of a “distressed finish”. The single belt loop that secures the end of the belt is thankfully grommeted in place. No slip sliding away. In other words it is my kind of belt. This 100% Italian leather belt comes in five colors from Cognac to Coffee and a number of sizes ranging from 28” to 44”. I advise you to heed the seller's suggestion that you order one size larger than your waist size. I didn't notice it and my belt is a tad tight at the moment. That'll change in the Spring so I am not concerned. I ordered tan because I have several pairs of shoes that are very close in color. It is noted that this is an all occasion belt. I would reign that assessment in a bit and stop at sports coat and slacks. I prefer a thinner profile for a dress belt. It is, however, outstanding with a nice pair of jeans. My wife told me I would not get this review done tonight. I told her it would be a cinch. And with that I will give this handsome and durable belt 5 Stars and will hastily exit through the kitchen. Remember to be kind to your servers. Read more

This premium quality Italian full‑grain leather belt is by far the most well‑made belt I own. It is nothing like the cheap, bonded leather belts I usually buy. The rich, authentic leather scent hit me as soon as I opened the box, and the belt has a solid, substantial feel. I chose the black color, which has a deep and rich finish, and it looks great with everything from jeans to dress slacks. Most belts are just layers of filler glued together, which eventually crack or peel after a few months, so it’s impressive that this belt is made from a single, solid piece of Italian full‑grain cowhide. It shows the natural grain and thickness of the leather and is about 1.5 inches wide, which is perfect for filling out the loops on my pants. The vintage style buckle resists scratches and adds to the handcrafted look. I usually wear a 34 inch belt, but I sized up and ordered the 35‑36 inch version, which turned out to be the right move. It fits perfectly on the middle hole and gives me plenty of room for adjustment. The leather was a bit stiff right out of the box, but after just a couple of days of wear, it began to soften and mold to my shape. It is extremely comfortable for all‑day use and never pinches. Overall, this belt is an incredible value for the quality you are getting. It is rare to find 100 percent genuine full‑grain leather at this price point, especially with the quality of the buckle and finishing. This is an outstanding product. Read more

The belt comes packaged in a very attractive gift box that would be appropriate for a nice gift. It is protected within a cloth ‘tube’ and is coiled up in the box. When you take the belt out, it rolls out perfectly straight and isn’t bent at all. The fit is perfect. I ordered the ‘brown’ color option for my husband and it is a nice rich shiny chocolate color. The leather is high quality and has a nice feel to it, like it was oiled and conditioned properly. However, the leather is not very thick, and I question whether it will hold up over time, especially being used by my hard working husband. He has worn it over a week and it is showing some signs of wear in several spots. But my husband is a cowboy and also works all day on a bulldozer, so he subjects his clothing and accessories to EXTREME conditions. He also wears a knife on his belt. This belt would probably hold up forever with someone who is a lot less active and rough than he is. It is still a very nice and attractive belt that would be a perfect gift for the man in your family. Read more

This isn't some thin big box store budget belt--this is a thick real leather belt that will last a lifetime with good care. I ordered this for my husband one night while he was asleep and when it arrived he was very happy with it. The gift box and packaging are very nice and protected the leather from scratches or rub marks due to shipping. The belt arrived in perfect condition and was exactly as the listing represented it to be. The color is rich and even, the edges and holes are finished nicely, and the buckle is strong. There is no split leather, pu/faux leather, or thin porcine leather--just genuine full grain bovine leather that will last and last . . . and last! We would get this belt again and may invest in more colors after we move into the new home. Read more
