Great addition to the wolfbox cameras

This makes the mirror install very easy. I use this in my winter vehicle that doesn't get driven for months during summer time. It's nice to be able to simply unplug the OBD connector instead of being hard wired. It also has a low battery shut down, but I put the vehicle on a battery tender while in storage, so it would keep the camera on all the time. Read more

Best way to hardwire a Wolfbox dash/back up camera system!

Worked perfect! Simple plug in power supply system for the Wolfbox G840S. Best way to go to hardwire the power supply for Wolfbox backup/dash camera system. Absolute idiot proof. I tried the hardwire to the fuse box system but couldn't make all functions work. This way worked first time on my 2013 F-150. Great Product! Good Price. Read more

Might work for some?

I had originally installed parking monitoring on my G900 Pro using a fuse tap hardwire kit instead, but my dashcam was having various power issues that I couldn't troubleshoot so I tried this instead. The good news is that installation of this OBD kit is 100x easier than a fuse tap install. Just plug it in and it works. The bad news is...does it exactly work as advertised and support 48hrs parking monitoring? Might depend on your vehicle/battery (I'm driving a '15 Accord) It lets you select the voltage drop shutoff so that it doesn't drain your battery, which is good. But even on the lowest setting I was getting less than 20hrs of recordings before it cut off the power. That never happened with a fuse tap kit which gives me 48hrs. My fuse tap also had built in voltage drop shutoff but it had no screen or selector, it just worked and my car always started on the morning. Maybe this OBD kit draws too much power either from the plug, or due to the screen, or something. Read more
