Last year I purchased the Wolfbox X3 for my daughter’s car and she absolutely LOVED IT so when I saw they released the X3 Pro at CES this year I ordered one for my work vehicle just as a security net should anything happen during my travels. I have to say it doesn’t disappoint! Both the Front and Rear cameras are 2.5K in the Pro while the Rear camera in the X3 is only 1080P - I feel it is a MUCH crisper picture and a great upgrade. The Pro also offers voice control and easily connects to your Phone via the App. I am extremely happy with the purchase, Wolfbox has some really nice products (I also have their Dual Cylinder Air Compressor and it has saved me twice now when my TMPS sensors went off due to low tire pressure). What would make this a five star? A better user interface, more visible buttons, sleeker design. The installation itself was straightforward enough, but everything that comes after feels less refined. The user menus and settings like ease of use. Security footage they saw clear as day. Many options are buried under labels that don't match what you'd expect. For example, changing the screen on timer is hidden under Screen saver, and even after setting my time preference, the unit occasionally flips between 12 hour and 24 hour formats. The quality of the village is solid, but several advertised attributes like MPH and GPS didn't consistently appear on recordings, even when enabled. The camera went completely dead once and wouldn't power on for two days, which raised concerns about long term reliability. It eventually came back on. The mounting system could use improvement. It's bulky if your vehicle has sensors on the windshield and the mount doesn't rotate enough to fine tune the angle. The record button is placed on the driver side, which becomes inaccessible if you want the camera on the passenger side to keep it out of your line of sight like I did. My biggest frustration is the documentation. The manual barely explains the features. The Sims are already familiar with dash cams and has to clarify what the accessories are for. That's the first-time dash Cam order. I was left guessing about how certain modes behave and what to expect when they activate. Even know when they were activated. Overall, the hardware shows promised, but the software documentation and usability need some refinement before it becomes truly user-friendly option. Read more

After extensive real-world use, the Wolfbox X3 Pro has earned a permanent place in my vehicle. As someone who works professionally with cameras, I came in with high standards — and this system has met them. The 2K image quality is genuinely good. Front and rear coverage is the right configuration for documenting anything that happens around your vehicle, and the footage holds up when it matters. I haven't been in an accident myself, but I've captured road rage incidents and other events I would have completely missed without a camera rolling. That alone justifies the investment. App control is a welcome feature and well-implemented. Navigating a phone interface is always preferable to squinting at the small onboard screen these devices typically offer, and the Wolfbox app makes configuration and footage review straightforward. Build quality feels premium — solid materials, well-assembled. Nothing about it suggests it will rattle loose or fade after a few months on the dash. One honest caveat worth mentioning: a dash cam is a double-edged sword. It will absolutely protect you from staged accidents and bad-faith insurance claims — and yes, those drivers are out there. But it will just as surely document your own fault if you cause an incident. Go in with that understanding and drive accordingly. No regrets on this purchase. It runs quietly in the background every time I drive, capturing the full spectrum of what happens on public roads — from the mundane to the genuinely alarming. Highly recommended for any driver who values documentation, accountability, and peace of mind. Read more
I’ve been using this dash cam for several weeks now, and I’m really impressed with the overall video quality and feature set. Even on dark streets, motion blur and noise are significantly reduced, and the footage is crisp and well-balanced. Allowing me to easily read license plates and road signs even at higher speeds. The image stabilization is also a big plus. I drive on some rough and uneven roads, and the footage remains smooth and steady. Something I didn’t expect in this price range. It captures every moment, without the shaky, unusable clips I’ve seen with other dash cams. I also appreciate the driver assistance features. The collision warning and lane departure alerts help me feel safe particularly on long highway drives. The voice control is intuitive, letting me manage recordings and settings without taking my hands off the wheel, though it took me a little time to get used to all the commands. Connectivity is fast and convenient. Transferring videos to my phone via the app is seamless. The integrated GPS logs my routes and speed accurately, embedding the data directly into the footage for reliable records. Overall, this dash cam offers real quality at a consumer-friendly price. The video clarity, night vision, stabilization, and safety alerts make it a solid choice for comprehensive front-and-rear coverage. Read more
