It is comfortable and goes with everything. Some say that it is a bit large but I found the size to be about right. The top is elastic and the skirt gathers at the elastic to give the pleat look. The material is a heavier cotton/polyester knit which feels like cotton but is wrinkle-free like polyester. The skirt has nice deep pockets which is wonderful. I can put a cell phone and small wallet in the pockets and don't need to always carry a purse. The best part of this skirt is its length. At 5'10", I am tall and it is difficult to find a skirt with a decent length. This one actually goes past my knees, not quite as much as shown but is one of the few skirts I have been able to find that do so. I liked it so well, I ordered two more in blue and red. I've ordered several items all at once from this vendor (Woman Within) I had not ordered from them before so my mistake. Their customer service is so sub par. The return process is awful and very expensive, as in, you pay for the shipping to return and you do not get a refund, but a store credit so you're stuck in an endless cycle of bad products and they keep your money. Their products are truly awful. Not well made and seem to be from grade B materials. Shoes I ordered were a plastic material. The two half slips were made of a cheap rayon that seemed flammable and the *static cling* factor won't go away with multiple attempts. I finally had to discard them. The skirt, xlg elastic waistband that is just to much for a skirt. In 2023, only cheap fabric wrinkles this bad. Steam iron struggled to remove. sigh. Please run from this vendor. This is a great skirt! NOTE: These are PLUS SIZES! I would wear a regular 3XL but order this PLUS 1X; Color is true navy. It is made of a heavy knit, not at all see through 60% cotton, 40% polyester, not for summer wear. It has a wide 1-1/2" elastic waistband that gathers the skirt nicely. I am 5'3" and it comes to mid calf with 32"inches length. It will likely shrink some when washed which will be perfect in fit then. My waist is 44", Hips 49", 225lbs. I am going to order another color to wear with a blazer I just ordered. I'll wear this for many occasions- around home or dress it up with a complementary printed top. This looks best ironed upon receiving or laundry. I love it! Read more
