I have never left a review in all my years of ordering from Amazon, but this jacket truly deserves one. I’ve been searching for this exact style for the past two years and could never find anything that captured the Scottish-English look I wanted—until now. This jacket is absolutely beautiful and, as other reviews mention, very well made. The sizing is a bit off, so I followed the advice from other reviewers and sized up—and I’m glad I did. I’m 5'1" and on the curvy side normal size is 8. I normally wear a medium in shirts and a medium/large in jackets. If these were American sizes, I would have gone with a size 10 (I like to layer bulky sweaters). Instead, I ordered a size 14, and it fits perfectly. See the pic's - I took outside so you can have better lighting. I’m not sure if my bulkiest sweaters will fit underneath, but that’s okay—I plan on ordering another jacket (the brown one) in a size 16 for extra room. Read more
The blazer is really nice. It is well constructed. I had to return the first blazer I ordered because it was too small. The return went very well. The sizing is UK which is smaller than the American sizing. I bought a replacement blazer 2 sizes up so I would have enough room to put a sweater under it. Read more
Don’t order!!! Paid good money and it was not sewed right. The sleeves were a complete disaster. They were completely and incorrectly attached to the jacket at the arm hole leaving the back of the jacket terribly misaligned. Completely unwearable. I wish I could leave no stars.! Read more
The blazer is really beautiful. Great value for price. I did have to return it however as the size recommended for me was too small. I liked the blazer so much though that I have reordered one size up, which I believe will still be a close fit, but that is what I want as I plan to wear the blazer w/ brightly colored vests, so plan to leave it unbuttoned. I like this jacket very much, and I almost kept it, but it was just a little bit too small even though I ordered one size up. I noticed immediately that it was labeled as a UK size 12. A UK size 12 is equivalent to an American size 8! Please be aware of this when ordering. I have returned it and I have ordered another one in a size 14, which is equivalent to a US size 10. Amazon’s algorithm suggested I order a size 10 in this garment, which is quite incorrect! Otherwise it appears to be well-made, and it’s a very handsome jacket, made from nice material and nicely lined. I look forward to receiving it in a size that will fit me. Read more
I ordered this TRUCLOTHING blazer in grey, which is a black and gray tweed. Very nice! Be aware that you must go up 2 sizes. Example: I normally wear a US size 10 blazer. I am 5 feet'3 inches tall and weigh 132 to 135 pounds. So, I ordered the UK size 14 which fit perfectly! The weight of the fabric is just right. I like that it is also lined.
