Having read previous reviews I knew these corduroy pants would be lightweight and they are. However they are loose enough to wear a pair of longjohns underneath if necessary. The sizing chart was accurate enough for me. I'm 5'7" and 170lbs and size XL fits fine. I like that they are just gathered at the rear waist and have belt loops. This color is great. My wife is a teacher and is always looking to add to her wardrobe. We picked these up for her and she really likes the way they look. She says they're comfortable and the material is stretchy and soft. Her one complaint would be that the material is a bit thinner than she'd like and she's a bit nervous about how well they'll hold up over time. These pants fit me fine in a size Medium. I'm 5'0" 150lbs. The waist is tight, but wearable since it's elastic and I am in the process of losing weight. The hips fit great, but like several other reviews have mentioned, the rear isn't flattering at all. The thin material means that any flaws are accentuated. Additionally, there isn't enough support in the material so the rear is flattened. It's just weirdly unflattering. I thought the other reviews were being silly, but it is unfortunately true. They are just barely too long for me, and I didn't like the look of them rolled up, so I plan to hem them. I have to hem most pants so no surprise there. The inseam is actually rather short at just 27", but it is listed as 28.5" which I think must be for the large or XL. PROS: feel great with stretchy lighter weight corduroy, comfy love the elastic waistband CONS: Butt is flattened and unflattering Can only wear with longer tops that will cover the rear which means the pockets and cute front details will be lost Not the inseam length listed, but that's a PRO for short gals like me :) Read more
