These are my fav. Size up if you have any curves. Actually high waisted! Some shrinking in the dryer but I prefer this. Drawstrings can be easily pulled out and they are exactly the same as the normal pants. Order those if they’re cheaper, they’re exactly the same! Read more

I am reviewing this as a mom with a bit of a fluffy body (I am EXTREMELY self-conscious about my waist and belly so no photos of the waistband on), 5'5"ish and usually wear an 8/10 -- so definitely not young and cute like the model. I ordered a Large in these pants and I am very pleasantly surprised. First, they are a cotton-twilly material that doesn't feel particularly soft initially but actually moves pretty well when wearing the pants. They have a boxy feel -- but that is typical of the cargo look (and my lack of an actual waist). I give the waist band 100 stars -- it is a mix of elastic and button/zipper so it has some give, doesn't compress on my belly or slip below a muffin top and it and is really super comfortable. I won't show any photos, but the band comes right above my belly button and securely above my hips and covers the small of my back completely-- so they cover everything and sit in a very comfortable spot. Even when I sit they are very comfortable and stay in place above my belly and hips. There are belt loops too just in case you need them, but waist wise the size is perfect for me, esp with the elastic! Length wise, these seem to run a bit long for me -- however I actually really find the rolled-up style with the sandals cute. For tennis shoes I rolled the hem up once and I think they are okay. The boots photos have no roll. The sandals photos took 3 full wide rolls on the hem. These could easily be hemmed, but I often like my pants on the longer side so I can wear them with different types of shoes and in different season -- so I am good with these. But, yes, I would say they run long. Lots and lots of pockets -- 2 back pockets, 2 hip pockets, and 4 cargo pockets. The cargo pockets are real and not just decoration. The top ones just have a flap, the bottom ones have a button with the flap. So lots of storage if you want it. I actually surprised myself and like these. I am always nervous about ordering online because I never feel anything fits me in a flattering way, and I second guessed my order a million times. But now that I have them on and see how incredibly comfortable they are on even with my body style, I am really glad that I pushed order. These are a keeper and I would definitely recommend. Read more
