I am completely obsessed with this bag! I purchased the larger version to travel with so I can also carry my lap top but I wanted the smaller version for every day use. I was worried it was going to be too small but when I tell you this little bag fits a lot! For reference I added a photo of every thing I keep in this bag!! It has an internal pocket and four external pockets. The zippers are pretty sturdy and the bag feels nice and soft. The inside is lined with a thick dark brown fabric. Which I like so things don’t go missing. It even has cute little metallic feet to keep your bag off of surfaces. I also love that it comes with a long strap or you can use the small straps as it fits perfectly under the arm. What a wonderful bag! It's sturdy, comfortable, and the zippers are of good quality. For a mini tote bag, it has a surprisingly nice storage capacity. I like the additional longer purse strap that is included, but the shorter straps are big enough to use as shoulder straps. If you fill the bag to the hilt, the drop of the shorter purse straps is about 6 inches. If you allow the middle of the bag to slouch in, the drop of the shorter purse straps is about 8 inches. I like that the purse is not only beautiful and sturdy, but that it is also functional. Some have mentioned that there is only one interior pocket. I solved that by using appropriate size cosmetic bags, that I already own and use for travel, to organize the interior. However, I will be looking at the purse organizers that Amazon carries, and perhaps find one that would fit comfortably in this purse. The faux leather is buttery soft, and looks close enough to the good leather. With all of that said, I just wish that this purse came in other colors like purple, emerald green/olive green, and red. This is a great dupe for the free people baby emerson tote. It looks exactly like the emerson but at a much more reeasonable price point. The bag is imitation leather, but it feels and looks like real leather. It is buttery soft and slouchy and the zippers work well. It holds a lot but is is still the perfect size for wearing over yolur forearm or shoulder and the included long strap is perfect for wearing as a longer shoulder bag or crossbody. The rivets on the bottom are a great touch and keep the bottom of the bag off the floor or other surfaces, protecting the material. Read more

The media could not be loaded. i love this free people baby emerson dupe!! it’s so spacious and the hardware on the bag gives it an edgy feel which is perfect for my style. i like that you can wear it crossbody or as a handbag, there’s tons of space to store all your items. imo the price isn’t bad at all. especially considering the real baby emerson is roughly $200 i think. the texture doesn’t feel cheap and there wasn’t any chemical smell when i first opened it. overall this is an amazing bag!!! if you’re on the fence i definitely recommend purchasing! I debated ordering this for a long time and was worried about it looking/feeling cheap or smelling. It arrived today and I was pleasantly surprised! It was packaged nicely with a dust cover and had no chemical smell. I have no idea what the Free People version looks like in person, but this bag is so cute! I love it! I don’t think it looks cheap. If you’re someone who normally purchases designer bag, you may see it differently but I usually get my bags from Target or Free People and this is exactly what I thought it would be. If I had to give a critique, I’d love the handles to have a slightly longer drop. It fits on my shoulder, but it’s VERY snug. Definitely won’t be comfy with a coat. I found this purse while I looked through the comments for a different name brand purse. Someone mentioned that this purse was a dupe and it really is. The design is beautiful, I love the color. My only “complaint” if that is that I wish it were a tad bigger BUT that was my fault for not truly looking at the dimensions.
