This is probably the best suit top I've purchased in a long time. As a curvy woman, it's important to find a suit that's flattering around my midsection. This suit is generous in that it lets you adjust the tie at the bottom and let it rest where it's most flattering and comfortable for the individual. Straps were not too lose and so far after four washes (lay flat to dry) have not stretched. Neckline is just perfect and the non-removable lining serves its purpose. As a plus size lady I appreciate tops like these. But the size/fit varies a lot between to the 2 styles. The one with the side tie are loose & flowy while the one without is form fitting which is a problem if you want to cover up your rolls and not show them off. Consider sizing up with this one. The built in bra is nice. It will secure the ladies nicely. The pads are sewn on, so they can't bunch up and move around. I would have given this 5 stars but it does run small. I'm keeping it because I'm planning on losing weight. I should be able to fit into this size but once again it runs small. I would not have kept it except, it's very pretty. Read more
I feel like bathing suits, for the most part, are way over priced so I decided to check Amazon as I know there's a huge selection. I absolutely love this suit. I was looking for a two piece I could wear to water aerobics that wouldn't fly up and provide decent coverage. The bottoms are short enough that I don't think that will be a problem, yet they are also long enough that I feel comfortable in them. The top has a wide band that when pulled down over my hips will stay in place when jumping around in the pool. Because some reviews said it ran small, I ordered a size 22, rather than my usual 20. I probably could have gone with the 20, but this suit actually fits fine. I like it so well, I'll probably wear it to the beach too. Read more
I love the top of this suit. It's super cute, comfortable, and the straps adjust easily and stay in place. It does fit smallish, but is overall a great swim top. The shorts are awful. They are too small, fit funny, feel very uncomfortable, and close with a ridiculous piece of velcro that starts to wear out and not stay closed after only a few wears. The shorts also faded and now look much older than the top. I have started wearing the top with sweatshorts because the bottoms are so uncomfortable. Read more
I normally wear a 2xl T-shirt and a 3xl in dress shirts (for the length) and I wear a 20-22 in jeans, depending on brand. The top fits perfect and the bottoms are great, too. But they do not give me lots of coverage, I am bottom heavy. The bottoms are fine for around the house but I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing them out at a public place. The bottoms sit right on my hips and are a little cheeky on me. Material is great. I don’t have a big bust, the top fits fine. I love the length. If you’re debating about buying this, BUY IT. It looks passably cute…until it gets wet. Since this is a bathing suit, that is a BIG problem. The shorts, which don’t look great when dry, are far worse when wet. They bunch and cling in an unflattering manner. The pockets (and this may be the only time I’ve lamented something having pockets) fill with water that does not drain out, which is odd. They balloon out until turned inside out, allowing the water to drain. And then there’s the Velcro. I don’t know who decided Velcro is the best way to fasten these shorts, but I can only imagine it was someone who’s never actually worn shorts. When the shorts get wet—again, their primary purpose—they lose all structural integrity. Do you know how much fun it is to nearly lose your swim bottoms at a family water park? Spoiler alert: it’s not. The stitching is also poor, with rough, unfinished seams on the legs of the shorts. So I get to add injury to embarrassment, because the rough, wet seam rubbed repeatedly against my inner thigh, leaving a welt. This isn’t even in “thigh rub” area, it’s lower, at the bottom of where the fabric touches. If I hadn’t already worn it, I would return it. A COMPLETE waste of money. I’m beyond disappointed and into angry at this point, because this is day 1 of a family vacation to a water park, and I’m not looking forward to dealing with the welt on my leg all week, or trying to replace this suit, because I am NOT putting it on again. This is one of my favorite tankini tops. I wear it to the gym for Water Aerobics. Unfortunately, my gym has had issues regulating the chlorine and has ruined several of these suits. This top lasts for at least six months of weekly use, then the colored outside of the suit starts to stretch and fade. I do believe I get my money's worth on this. It always fits well, makes me feel nice, and performs past expectations. Read more
