I was surprised at the weight of the material. I also liked it. There was one detraction in the weave of the poncho and it appeared uneven giving dark spots in areas. Maybe my eyes are failing me but the style and the warmth are great. I also was pleseed to find the right color green. I had been looking for this green in something like this so the surprise and the good style was a very hapy surprise. I would give it a 5 but rather a 4 1/2 stars based on the complaint I had before. I was so pleased to get this coat. It is perfect for casual, but could be used for dressy purpose also. It's very warm and the fur is really nice. I didn't realize that there were two different models...one with a hood and one without a hood. I wondered why there were two dark red models listed. You can't really tell from the pictures shown that one has a hood and the other doesn't. When I received mine today and it didn't have a hood, I was a little surprised but not upset. Perhaps the title description should make it more evident that there are two models, one with a hood and one without. I'm happier without the hood, I don't think I would use it that often and it would just hang off the back and be annoying. You won't go wrong with this jacket. Read more

I look like a Hobo in this. I ordered the green color and it is more of a muddy green. It is actually very ugly. Too much material. For reference, I'm 5'6?165. The picture of the model shows one that has less material or it could be the way she has her arms stretched out or maybe they pinned it, but what I received is totally different. This is definitely not for me. I thought of purchasing a different color and that maybe it may look better, but they just have drab colors, with the exception of the red one. For fear the color will bleed I decided not to purchase. This one is going back. Read more
