This cover up is exactly as shown. It is a more delicate knit, so I would be a little more careful with it, but the color and design are as pictured. The cover is loose knit with small little black embelishments here and there. There are also sequins placed around it as well. Not a lot, just a few to give some unexpected sparkle accents. It seems well put together, the knit pattern and seams look as though they will last several Swim seasons-if you are careful of the loose knit pattern. I got a medium and generally wear a size small. It seems like this runs a bit small but I prefer a looser fitting swim cover. The medium comes to my hips as the ad depicts, so maybe consider ordering a size up. This swimsuit cover is really nice. It is made of a cotton crochet with textures of threads, knots, and a transparent sequence of the same color. I got it in the khaki colors and it is more like a light brown color. I got an XL. I usually wear a medium for tops but since I wanted it to be oversized, I got it two size larger and I’m glad I did as it hangs on me the way I love swimsuit covers to. It’s of good quality and the workmanship is well done with finished seams and no lose thread. The arms widens slightly at the ends which is also a nice effect. Unfortunately this swimsuit coverup did not work out for us at all. My wife is 5'6" and about 140 pounds, and we ordered a size medium, which is typically what she wears in most clothing. The biggest issue was the fit. The neck opening is extremely large, much bigger than expected, and the arms are very long and baggy, which made the whole coverup look oversized and awkward rather than stylish like the photos suggest. The crochet material itself seemed fine, but the cut and proportions are just way off. Instead of having a flattering beachy look, it just hangs loosely and doesn’t fit right in several places. Because of the poor fit, we likely won’t even use it and will probably just throw it away. If you’re considering this, be aware that the sizing and design may run very large and loose, especially around the neck and sleeves. Read more

I was pretty disappointed with this cover-up. I ordered a size up, which turned out to be a major mistake because it is clownishly oversized. The sleeves are extremely long and very wide at the bottom, which makes the whole thing look and feel awkward. Wearing it off the shoulder doesn’t really work either because the sleeve drops so far it practically hits your knee. It also has small sequins scattered throughout the fabric, which I didn’t notice when ordering, and will probably make it more of a hassle to wash and care for. I love the look of this coverup so much! It seem well made and doesn’t have any visible loose threads. I usually am a size small in tops but ordered a medium so it would be tunic length. I’m glad I did, as now I can wear it off the shoulder easily. I would order your regular size if you don’t want the arms to be too long, though. It will still be oversized but might not go off the shoulder. I would even wear this over a tank top or long sleeve shirt for a fun layering piece! Very pretty coverup! I ordered my typical size and am glad I did. It already comes oversized, so I would only go max one size up if you really want to have a looser fit. It has a wide neck and I like that the shimmer adds a bit of pop without being gaudy. The loose fit, long sleeves, and slits are attractive features.
