I absolutely love these boots! I usually wear a size 9 in boots, so that’s what I ordered, and these fit perfectly. The styling on these is super cute, with a great Victorian/vintage look, and the heel is high enough to feel dressy, but low enough to remain comfortable for me. I love that I can get the laces to the perfect snugness and then use the zipper to take these in and off easily - no fuss! The pair I received has clean and tight stitching with good lines. The leather and construction feel solid - they are well made for this price point. The classy black goes well with my fall dresses and tights, and looks great with pants, capris and skirts also - very versatile. Read more

You're definitely getting a quality boot for this price, which is on par with a lot of box stores. The boot is roomy and the sole is cushy, which makes your feet comfortable. The side zipper makes getting it on easy. I will say, I fluctuate between 6 and 6.5 a lot, and I got these in a 6. There's room to spare. I do not have wide feet but I do have high arches and these do not bother my arches (lots of other shoes and boots squish the too of arch and makes my feet hurt that way). I even tried these on with my normal socks and the boot was fine. I could probably get away with thicker socks. I was able to put them on over my skinny jeans with no problem. I am not sure how these will hold up on ice and snow, so I wouldn't plan on wearing these in deep snow, however I feel like just walking on a cleared sidewalk should be fine. Read more

I wanted to love these boots ... and I probably would have if they didn't CREAK when walking. That creak cancels out all of the other good things - look, comfort, fit, support, zip-up design, etc... If anyone knows of a way to get them to stop creaking, I'll come back and revise my review! Read more

These boots arrived on time and in good condition. They were packaged very well and have no scuffs or marks on them. They have a zipper on the inside of the foot that goes all the way down to the sole of the shoe the grommets and laces are nice and the stitching is very well done. The heel and sole are glued on (which I believe is the cause of the slight chemical odor that they have) and appear to be made well. When standing in the shoe the heal sounds very hard and solid on the floor. They have no arch support so I will be putting an insert inside of them. They are narrow, which is great for my narrow feet but they are not tight. There seems to be plenty of room in the toe box. after I get the insert inside I think I will like wearing them a lot. These boots are stunning. From the laces to the heel, these are just amazing boots. The outer zipper is decent quality, the heel feels well made, and the material on the boots doesn't feel cheap or thin. I think you could wear these regardless if you had a costume. They are stylish and look amazing. Wifey has wider feet, but she hasn't complained about them, so I would call these a total win! Read more

These are lovely Victorian boots, which fit wide foot comfortably. They are easy to wear all day long and our effortlessly stylish they’re made with high-quality material and have inner zippers, but can also be tightened with the round leather shoelaces. They have a kitten heel size which is perfect for someone with plantar fasciitis, although I would still recommend using the sticker, inner arch pasties for ultimate comfort. Really comfortable on the inside they are thick, but not too warm and the zipper slides easily. These are very high-quality and detailed. Read more
