This is a comfortable suit, the velvet is very soft too. I ordered an XXL and it fits me well, if not a little loose. The jacket and legs are a loose fit. The pants waist fits me snug but from the waist down it’s like a wide leg. So much so that it’s not even fitted really in the hip area. But thats ok, I think thats the style. I’m surprised how long these pants are, I’m 6’ tall and they come to the floor on me. So shorter people might need them hemmed! I love the color and cut of this. It's a decent length for a tall person, I'm 5'9" with long legs and I wish it were a bit longer, but it's not bad in flats. It does run small, I get an XL in almost everything, including this, but the pants are TIGHT. I was able to button them but it's a close call. The arm length of the sleeves is bizarrely short. Several inches too short. I can push the sleeves up and pretend it's 3/4 and it looks alright. For the price, I would have liked more sleeve length and more accurate sizing, but I like it enough (and the event I need it for is this weekend so I don't have time to get a bigger one) that I'll keep it anyway. I also wish the grain of the velvet ran down vs up, but that's getting nit picky probably. Read more

This velvet suit is gorgeous! It really exceeded my expectations. It is very well made. The blazer is fully lined, has fabric-covered buttons, front darts and light padding in the shoulders. Really nice! The pants have pockets! And, the pants have a lovely waist band with belt loops. So stylish! Oh, and did I mention the velvet material is beautiful and the color (my is in sage green) is sublime. I was very skeptical but after reading the reviews I went for it and so glad I did. You can wear it dressed up or down, and the blazer and the pants can be worn separately and easily mix in with the rest of your wardrobe. I contacted the company for a special request and they responded immediately and graciously agreed to accommodate my request. I’ll be ordering from this company again. It’s not terrible quality, but the red is more red than burgundy like in the photo. Unfortunately they are not made for tall people, as the pants were far too short on me- I’m 5’9 and ordered a large. The blazer fit ok. Read more
