I gave it two stars because the "fabric" is a pretty color. Here is what it is VERY IMPORTANT to know about this skirt: the fabric is "very thin" and the hem is "(very) uneven. " Although I confess that I am not sure why the back of the skirt is longer than the front. I purchased this for my 98 year old mother who likes colorful skirts. But even with that, I am going to take it to a tailor to make the hem ALL even and then hem it. Although another note of caution, there is little (if any) fabric at the skirt's bottom. Fortunately, because of the unevenness at the end of the skirt, there will be enough fabric to use to straighten that out. You almost have to see it to understand it, but because I am recommending that you don't buy it all, it might be a moot point. For anyone who just likes the fabricand wants to purchase it, be forewarned about the uneveness of the hem portion of the skirt. Overall, the fabric - while vibrant and colorful - the skirt overall is cheaply made and weird/odd configuration at the bottom of the skirt. It was also VERY WRINKLED when we received it, and I will need to take it to the cleaners to get a satisfactorily smooth look. If you are reading this review, note that the $24. cost of this item is adding up to get it into a presentable skirt to wear. I am befuddled how it has received so many "5-star ratings." It is very important that I write reviews with integrity and I just can't give a favorable review of this skirt. And even though the price may be "affordable" - it is not worth it if other aspects of a clothing item is inferior. And so it is with this skirt. Read more
