i got these due to a bunion on my foot, with the intention of the "sock" providing less pressure and flexibility. While the shoe is sock material there is a hard plastic front of the foot piece..so it will create pressure like a normal shoe will. Sort of defeated my purpose, but they are comfortable so far. These are very nice looking, however they are very narrow so if you have wider feet, they will be painful to wear for a night out or if you have to do a lot of walking. Don't wear them in inclement weather as the material will get wet. Glad I sized up half of a size. I like that the heel is low, just not great for long wear. Read more
