I looked for months for a belt that would check off all the boxes I wanted in a belt. The buckle is beautiful and high quality on this belt. I absolutely love that it is adjustable. Women's bodies change whether it is pregnancy or menopause or just life in general adjustability is crucial. The thickness or width of the belt was important to me. I wanted something that fit nicely within the loops of all my pants but wasn't too thin. This belt wins here. I've now had this belt for quite some time, thus I feel like I can easily speak to the longevity of the belt, it has definitely withstood the test of time. It functions as it should and quite easily. It does not stretch but I did not want any stretchability in my belt another definite win in my book. I will definitely buy this belt for anyone else in the house that may need a new belt. I ordered the smallest size and received this belt and some of the other reviews stated, "that it has a tool kit and you have to make your own holes in it." Yes, there is a tool kit, but the belt I received actually already had holes in it like it was supposed to. The only purpose I see for the tool kit is, if you need to make it smaller than the size you initially ordered. The belt itself is "thick" and seems durable enough that it will last over time from being worn. With that being said, I recommend this belt for anyone to purchase and wear with your desired outfit. The leather is so soft and flexible; it's such a classy addition to my outfits and I'm so happy I bought it. The quality is excellent, and the stitching is beautiful in person. The only negative--the loop you put the excess belt through after securing it is a little loose, but it doesn't take away from the appearance or effectiveness of the belt. Definitely worth it for the money!! UPDATE: I bought another one in a different color! As expected, I'm just as pleased this time around. I'm a plus size gal, (about a 20-22 at Torrid/Lane Bryant) and finding a belt of similar or better quality at such 'extended size' stores is a real pain. They're either the same price or more, but the quality is significantly subpar compared to this belt, and often they fall apart very quickly. I have the same black belt (mentioned above) and the only obvious wear on it is the loops looking used, and the brass fixture appears a little more worn now. I think I have had it for almost 2 years or maybe a little longer, but it is still in great shape. I went down a size because I lost weight between these purchases, and got the XL (fits waist size 40-42 I think). I'm currently on the second loop, which gives me room to continue losing weight. Easily the best belt I have ever purchased. I bought this belt in September, and the belt hasn't looked ratted or lost its structural integrity ever since my purchase. I want to throw my other plastic belts in the trash and buy one more in black. This really is the only belt you'll ever need if you want a classic and timeless look. Instantly elevates every outfit. Go down in size if you are in between sizes, as I've had to punch an extra hole in mine. It is my (only) qualm with the product. It lasts, looks amazing and is genuine leather (you can smell it).
