This set is adorable! I absolutely love the thickness of the fabric and the way it looks. Even being overweight, this outfit gives me a little confidence boost for working out! I rounded up in size and I'm glad I did because it is tight (like a good tight though)! I'm normally a M for tops and L for bottoms, but since this is a set, I just went with Large for the set. If the top was a little big it wouldn't be a big deal.. but it turns out the top feels snug and definitely doesn't feel like I'm up a size from my normal. Luckily, the bottoms fit me just as I would expect for a L. The short have great range of motion and the legs stay in place without riding up. So I HIGHLY suggest you size up! Mind you, this "looks" great but I think I would feel more just a tad bit 🤏🏽 more comfortable in a bigger size. Getting into the shorts and top was the same exact thing I go through when I put on shapewear because it's essentially made out of the same exact material. It's very stretchy and tight to the point I thought it was too small at first. Once I got everything situated though, it looked really really good and it's still comfortable enough for me to wear as is. Honestly, I think I'll get used to it fairly quickly because I'm used to wearing shapewear. It just took me by surprise because it's not what I was expecting. The more I wear it throughout the day, the more I like it. I still suggest you size up though. For size reference, I normally wear a large and I have a 38DD chest. The large top was able to easily accommodate my ladies WITHOUT me wearing a bra so that shapewear material definitely has its advantages. The shorts fit great too once I got myself into them 😂 Btw, speaking of the material, it's of a MUCH MUCH higher quality than I was expecting! I mean before I even took it out of the bag I could see that it was really good quality, ribbed and thick but once I tried it on it wasn't hot. So I most definitely recommend this outfit. Even if your midsection isn't perfect it will still look cute! Mine is nowhere near perfect but the trick is to wear the shorts a little higher to cover love handles/muffin top.
