The boots were really cute and very easy to put on. The size was perfect, and they would have looked great with jeans or skirts. However, I was disappointed to receive a pair that had visible signs of wear and tear. I expected a brand-new pair, so I’m requesting a replacement or resolution. Wow, I love these boots! They are so incredibly cool-looking, and really surprisingly comfortable. They’re definitely not subtle…this is a look that gets lots of attention and double-takes…but as long as you don’t mind that, you will love these. The boots themselves are knee-high with a unique overlay design that sits separated freely from the main shaft of the boot. They feature a silver-tone small decorative padlock at the top outside edge of each boot. There’s a black wedge heel with a little bit of a lug sole. The boots have round toes. They are a little wide if you look straight down at them. Let’s talk comfort. I love walking in these boots. They give you about 3.25” of height, but there’s a 1” platform across the whole bottom, so the actual heel only feels like it’s 2.25” of height. The foot area itself is on the wide side, so if you have wide feet, you’ll love these. If you’re narrow-footed like me, then your foot may wiggle from side to side a little. I solved this by putting in insoles, which also helped make them even more comfortable. The only downside is that they’re made of PU leather (fake leather) and not real leather. That means they’re a bit sweaty, since PU leather doesn’t breathe like real leather. But these also come at a very good price since they’re just PU leather, so it won’t break your bank to rock this great look. So for me, these come out at 5 stars. Read more
