A bit granny-ish

I suppose it’s my fault for not looking closer before ordering, but the first thing that caught my eye when pulling it out were the huge faux pearl and diamond buttons. That is a deal breaker for me. However I still tried it out, and found that the sleeves are very short, and the material is not soft, it’s more scratchy than anything. Additionally, it is heavy and not very breathable. Read more

Feels great however buttons might fall off.

Feels warm and great looking however not everyone will enjoy the buttons.. Also feeling of the buttons like they about to fall off the sweater gives is cheap build look. Most likely will be replacing the buttons with something sturdy. Overall fits great and gives another choice of wardrobe to my spouse. Read more

Cute Style, Just Okay Quality

This cardigan has a nice casual look to it, but it didn’t quite live up to what I expected. The fit is comfortable and the length is flattering — hits right below the hip and works well with jeans or leggings. The V-neck and button-down design are classic and easy to layer over tanks or tees, which I like for fall weather. The issue for me is the fabric. It’s lightweight, but it feels a bit thinner and less soft than the pictures suggested. After one wash on delicate, the knit started to fuzz slightly along the sleeves and edges. It’s not ruined, but it definitely lost that crisp “new sweater” feel quicker than I’d hoped. The buttons also feel lightweight — more decorative than sturdy. On the plus side, it does drape nicely and doesn’t cling, so it’s fine for casual days or working from home. The colors are accurate and the overall shape still looks good after washing. I’d call this more of a layering piece than a true “cozy” sweater. It’s not a bad purchase — just not a standout. If you’re looking for something inexpensive and easy to throw on during transitional weather, it works. But if you want something with that high-end, soft-knit feel, this one might leave you wanting a little more. Read more
