These shoes are so beautiful! I love the attention to detail on these. They zip really well and you never once have to undo the laces to put these on or off. I think that they're probably just a gaux leather-look, but they look amazing! There's no information that I can see regarding what it's made out of. They do have a nice leather-like smell, but that may just be faint smell of polish. Whatever it is, they've done a phenomenal job with these boots! I got them because one of my daughters love boots, but I'm never sure about sizing when I order offline online. And to be honest, I was kind of hoping that they'd fit me too! 😘😁 My daughter is about a size seven and a half... Maybe 8US I'm about a nine or eight and a half and so I figured if they didn't fit me they would definitely fit her. Well I'm happily surprised to say they do fit me, perfectly! But knowing that didn't dissuade my daughter from trying them on too.. Yes they're a little big on her, but she doesn't really notice it to be a problem! So now she's been wearing them everyday for several days now. She says that they're comfortable. But she doesn't have plantar fasciitis and neuromas like I do.. So at her young age, I'm not sure whether they're comfortable or not because when our feet are young we can pretty much wear anything! On the other hand, I haven't worn them long enough to tell you how comfortable they are, and I may not get the chance to! 😘My daughter was severely injured in an accident, and she's in a lot of pain otherwise, so if these shoes make her happy, they make me happy too! Someday I hope to get another pair like them for myself. I personally don't spend a lot of money on clothing or shoes, so this is a little higher price than I prefer to pay for my $5 clearance shoes. (I go to the foot doctor a lot, so I do understand the importance of pain for nice shoes. And I do have a pair of athletic shoes that I paid more for, but I require a lot of cushioning, and that is not l how I would describe the insoles of these boots.) Though I didn't notice that they were awful when I wore them, but they're definitely not as soft as my athletic shoes. I'm sure that I could put some inserts in them, and I might try if I get a chance to wear them.). I ilknow that it's an actually comparable price for shoes that look like this! In fact, people would pay more for such a look because they're so pretty! And for the record, they're not remotely comparable to an average combat boot! These are much more attractive and feminine looking. They have a beautiful black shine to them. Also, you don't need to be a "goth" type of person to wear these (or whatever you call it these days). I'm a conservative dresser --meaning I dress very modestly and I rarely wear all black... except for when I'm singing in concerts. Typically I wear bright colors and frills, and these boots fit perfectly with anything I wear just because of the shape and the style of them. But again, fashion is subjective. These chunky combat boots look amazing! I love the edgy, stylish design with the buckles and studs. They really stand out. The quality is great, and the boots feel sturdy and well-made. They’re comfortable to wear, and the low block heel gives a nice lift without hurting your feet. They pair perfectly with jeans, skirts, and pretty much any outfit.
