It has enough stretch to provide some extra room if needed, without being too clingy or fitting like a 2nd skin. They're perfect for a business lunch or when you want to dress up from a pair of nice jeans. The charcoal color is perfect and exactly as advertised. I am 5'1" and 120lbs and usually wear a size 6, sometimes size 4. I bought these pants in size small and they fit perfectly through the hips and thighs.
