Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love these pants! You really need to buy these! I saw a woman in a store who had these pants on, and I asked her about the brand so I could buy some. She said E Cupper on Amazon! So, who is E Cupper anyway? They make very comfortable, relaxed fit 100% cotton pants. The elastic waistband is very comfortable and it relaxes to fit your waist without feeling tight or binding. The cotton pants stretch a bit, making them very comfortable especially in the heat of summer. They are so versatile that you can wear them three seasons out of the year, and maybe even in the winter with boots. They come in beautiful colors, too. I washed them in cold water and no heat in the dryer and they looked great. The fabric is very soft and again, they are so comfortable as loose fit pants. These are a great value for the money, too, as they are very well made. I already bought a second pair- one in purple and another in light blue. Love these pants for everyday style and comfort! These pants have the look that I was looking for with the wide leg and cotton linen appearance. They were a little stiff upon arrival, but after washing, they are softer, and I like the way they feel. The width of the leg is just right, but for me at only 5’2” the crotch fits way too low and I’ll need to have them altered. I can pull the elastic band up almost to my bra to make them fit, but they are very long in the rise. Read more
I legit never buy clothes on Amazon, but crossed my fingers and tried these. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the quality of them. I wanted something 100% cotton and the fabric does feel true to that. I tried them on right after they were delivered - they fit well and were a bit strong smelling like some sort of chemical-ish scent. I washed them on hot and dried them in the dryer and they didn’t shrink much - still fit perfectly. They look presentable and classy, and are super comfy - they feel like I’m wearing pjs! These pants were exactly what I was looking for. I’m 5’2” so these went right down to my ankles. It’s 100% cotton so I’m hoping it doesn’t shrink too much after washing. Even if there’s some shrinkage, the pant legs are nice and roomy. I ordered size 16 which turns out to be a 2L on the label. The elastic waist is comfortable. I probably could have gone with the next size down as recommended on Amazon, but I’m glad I didn’t. I ordered the teal and the color looks really nice. I really wanted to love these. I’m 5’10” and 195. I ordered XL. The waistband was below my waist by a few inches and was a bit tight. Then there was too much fabric just below the waistband front and back creating an odd poof. The hips and seat fit correctly, assuming no major shrinkage when washed. I would have kept, despite the poof, as I would wear with long tops, but the waistband was just a touch to uncomfortable. Because it was a bit low it kept trying to creep up when I moved about, which created a subtle wedgie front and back. Less than comfy. I contemplated a larger size but I think it would have ballooned around me and I’m not sure the rise issue would be much different. The material is mid-weight. I live where it is hot and humid in summer so these might have been even a bit heavy, but great for late spring and early fall. I can’t speak to how they washed as I’m not keeping them. Fabric is quality.. It is in fact 100% cotton. Washed up nicely with no shrinkage... I washed in delicate cycle cold water and dried on low heat... length shrunk 1/4" or so. Line dry if you don't want then to shrink at all. I usually wear a 4 or 6 in pants so was between sizes. I opted for the 6 to 8 size and they fit perfectly. For reference I am 5' 2", 130 lbs, waist is 28", hips are 40". Fit perfectly. Over all I really like the fabric and fit of these pants and will probably order another color. Update: I find myself grabbing these pants more than anythings else in my closet. They can be dressed up or down and they're cool and comfortable. I now own 3 pair. Read more
+ Easy to throw on and go. + Practical colors. The dark blue is versatile, as is the black. Haven’t tried other colors bc of the inconsistencies in fit. - As described? Not like any 100% cotton garment I have ever had. Feels more like rayon. Has perma-creases pressed in. There is a word for this technique but you see it with polyester. Washes nicely. Doesn’t wrinkle like 100% cotton. A little stiff. - Sizing is hit or miss. Long waisted and large around the area between hip and navel. Fit variations among the same size and color. It’s gotten confusing, my keep and return list, as I’ve had to buy multiple sizes in two colors. I’m almost 5’4” and 140. Usually take a 6 (which they call a M) but I had to size up to a L (10) to accommodate my curvier thighs. Hip in the L fits OK. Waist slightly large in a L. - Value? Because I don’t believe I’m getting 100% cotton (grrrrr), the price point should be lower. Read more
