These are true barrel pants and I am excited to give these a try. They are definitely not sweatpants and the listing says, they are a casual pants, or trousers, which is what I expected from the listing photos. I am 5’7, 155 and ordered a large and am happy with the fit. The pants end right at my ankles which is what I think you want with barrel pants, and the elastic in the back make them very comfortable. The material of these is very comfortable soft and breathable, definitely feels like cotton. I didn’t realize that they were considered Capri pants with the wide barrel legs. I’m not a fan. I find it looks a little frumpy. I got a size small - for reference I’m about 140lbs 5’5. Id say they are true to size, fit well not too tight. However, I find the elastic back while a nice option can bunch up a little bit on your bum and look weird and because they come up high. I dont feel i am abnormally tall at 5'8" but these pants make me feel so. If you wear the pants on your hips, they are long enough, but your crotch will hang a good four inches below your actual body. If you wear them at your waist, then you could walk through flood waters with no worries about getting your pants wet. They are nice fabric, and sewn well, but unless you are shorter, prolly not a good pant to wear. Read more
These capri pants are very nice and comfy. They are wide leg, baggy and very comfy and roomy. The stretch waist band is also great. The front and back pockets are a plus as is the belt loops in case you need it a belt or want to accessorize! The mostly cotton material also adds to the comfy feel but also means these pants have to be washed in cold water and need to be air dried to prevent shrinkage. I am a little bit on the fence here. The pants are made of a good material and the cut and finish are better than I expected. I like the placement of the pockets. The waistband is stretchy, so it's very comfortable. Personally, I have a little bit too much space in the bum area, which is not flattering. But that wouldn't be true for everyone. If you have a fuller bum, then it would be fine. The barrel leg is not as pronounced as I was worried it would be. I guess I can't really call it flattering, but it's not bad. I think that the inseam could be longer (which is unusual for me because I have short legs). These pants are beautiful and fit me very well. The only small issue is that they are a bit long on me. I’m 5’2” and 121 lbs, and I ordered a size Small. They fit true to size, but the length would probably look even better on someone taller. The color is a gorgeous shade of green, and the fabric feels very nice and high-quality. These are ok. The original listing had these listed as sweatpants so I came in totally prepared to say these are not, in fact, sweatpants. But that seems updated so all good. They fit more like a khaki, but with an elastic back which I find to be a little frumpy. I do like the barrel leg, I just think these could have been better. Read more
