I can always use a swimsuit coverup for the beach or pool, so I got this one to try. It is mesh, so it is see through and wouldn't be good for going into a restaurant or store. It would; however, be perfect for sitting at a beachside food truck, open air tiki bar, or open air shopping. On to the coverup itself. I got an extra large, because I like to have a little extra room. The material has some stretch which helps when pulling on over your head. It is like a t-shirt for fit and sleeve length. There are long slits on each side, for me they come to about two inches above my natural waist. This does make sitting or lounging easier, as it does pull tight across your hips. The length on me is about 2 inches above my knee. Since it is mesh, I'm not sure how well it would prevent sunburn on your shoulders, so i gave it 4 stars.
