Planning a trip to Ireland and Scotland in May and weather can be rainy. I love the long raincoat trend on others but I don’t see myself walking around with a long coat all day. Plus those coats don’t have a hood so then I also need to walk around with an umbrella which gets tiring after awhile. This jacket is great. I am a fashion forward 45 year old 5”6 135 pounds and ordered the small. It’s oversized so no need to size up. Great material, not cheap feeling. Heavy but not enough to make you hot and the hood is perfection. It’s a deep hood which has the cool girl vibe and will keep the rain off. I've wanted one of these for quite awhile!! They are so in fashion at the moment. I know a full length trench is such a solid classic, but this cropped silhouette is a fun take on a timeless classic. It's cropped, but the back part of the coat is a little longer than the front so the tops of your trousers, or a skirt, it covered from the wind and rain. It's definitely big, I ordered my usual size M, and this is big enough to wear a bulky sweater under it with no problem and room to spare. It has a lined, detachable hood that is fastened with a small elastic loops on the hood, to a small buttons on the underside of the collar of the coat. The one problem that I'm having is that one of the elastic loops is just a tad bigger than the others and the last button on the hood doesn't stay fastened. I mean it's a minor thing, but annoying nonetheless!! The coat has sort of an asymmetrical closure to it. It has four large and easily closable buttons to close the coat in front. The coat is made of polyester with a polyester lining. It doesn't have any stretch to the fabric, but it's bigger, so you won't miss having it. The sleeves have large button-able closures at the end that can cut the wind whipping through the coat up your sleeve, brrrrrrr. There are two large buttons on the sleeve, so two choices of how you want the closure to be. It does have two large pockets on either side of the coat to keep your hands warm. It is machine washable, but not machine dry-able. It can not be dry cleaned, but it can be ironed at a low temp. It has a nice soft silky feel to the outside material giving it a bit more hug-ability and feeling of cozinesses. Read more

Cute design large sizing, the fit is big. The detachable hood is attached by buttons with elastic pieces, not holes instead of snaps. They are difficult to get to work, I won’t be attaching and detaching often. The fabric does seem to be of a waterproof type. It does have a liner but this would only be good for a chilly night, not super warm. Read more

This cropped trenched coat is super cute! It is a little longer in the back and rounded off at the bottom which is a cute touch. Fabric is great quality and the detachable hood took a minute to get on so I’ll just leave it on all the time probably. I ordered a large and I’m 5’6 165lbs. Fits great! I bought this cropped trench coat because I was tired of long coats swallowing my whole outfit, and this one feels much more proportioned. This cropped trench coat is super cute and trendy. I ordered size small and it’s an oversized fit, which I don’t mind and I prefer it. I’m 5’3 and weigh 130 lbs. for size reference. The arms are batwing style. It comes with a removable hoody. Big pockets. Inside is nicely lined. The olive color is beautiful and pairs well with other clothing. The media could not be loaded. This women’s cropped trench coat is comfortable to wear and lightweight, making it easy to move around in. The fabric feels silky smooth and soft on both the inside and outside, which adds to the overall comfort. I really like the detachable hood, as it makes the jacket versatile and easy to style in different ways. My only concern is that I noticed some button crease marks in a few areas, likely from being folded during shipping. Because of this, the quality doesn’t quite match the higher price point.
