This maxi skirt is incredibly comfortable with the stretch it offers in addition to being stylish. The material is lightweight so it doesn’t feel heavy. The waistband is a stretchy band that stays in place and accommodates different sizes when placed at the hips or high waist. It fits true to size but due to its stretch a size down or the true size should work great. The mini ruffles provide a neat style compared to the typical maxi skirt look. The skirt is an A line where it doesn’t poof out significantly but it still has a little flare. I like how this pairs well with the mini ruffles. The skirt is not see through unless it is stretched to the maximum. Even then wearing black tights or leggings under it would be sufficient. I appreciate the versatility of the skirt as it can be worn in warm months by pairing with a tank or in cool months by pairing with a sweater or jacket. Not sure I would call this an A-line skirt. It is actually a bit narrow and kinda form fitting. But I really do like it! The fabric has a really interesting texture that actually feels good on your skin. It is really stretchy and you can feel it kinda conforming to your moves and feels active. The black color is nice. I mean it is just black, but somehow it is a good shade of black. I really like wearing the skirt. It is a bit more form fitting than I typically prefer, but something about the texture and the look of it I really enjoy. It is also quite long. I rolled the waist hem like 5 times to get it to the length I wanted. But, I really hate the top hem. It is just a piece of cheap black elastic sewn to the top. It looks and feels like an after thought or cheap last minute slap it on. This skirt would be a rockstar if it wasn't for that crapola piece of elastic. Ugh. Just something, anything really, other than just a piece of plain old elastic. Really ruins it for me. But I'll still wear it, because I like the rest of it. And the hem will rarely if ever be seen, but I know it is there. Currently listed at $20, this is a pretty good deal. I'd even be willing to pay more if it had a decent top hem. Read more

This skirt is gorgeous! I love the length - it hits right at my feet, which is exactly what I was looking for. The texture is really nice too. I got my usual size small and I really love the color, the fit and the textured material. It drapes nicely and the ruching gives it a really flattering look. The only downside is that the fabric is a bit see through. For anything other than a beachy vacation outfit, I would definitely wear black tights underneath and pair it with a top that comes down a little lower. This is perfect. I am 5’8” and I can wear this at my actual waist and it is the right length. The waistband if very forgiving. I have a big middle and the waistband can handle it and it’s comfortable. This skirt would look good paired with a sweater or for a more formal occasion top it off with a cute holiday too. Read more
