I love this dress. I purchased it in royal blue for a formal event, a fall evening wedding, with royal blue shoes and bag. The dress has a sexy appeal because one shoulder is exposed, but yet it is warm, and comfortable. Also, it has a split to the knee so a little bit of leg is exposed, just enough but not too much. I bought this dress for my daughter as she loves this style dress. I ended up buying 2 colors as she is in college and just needs go to dresses in her closet for galas, dances, dates, etc. What's great about it, besides the fit, is it can come across high end for the dressiest of events or worn out for a special dinner date for a nice night. You can do both without looking over or under dressed for either scenario. The colors are just beautiful too. My daughter wears a 14/16 & I got the XXL only because she preferred it. She is probably more a true XL but she likes to bunch the fabric for a shirred look in the tummy area, and it looks phenomenal on her curves!! I would say if you're around that size, an XL will truly fit like a glove smooth and the XXL gives a shirred look but is still close & fitted to the body, not loose. This dress was perfect for the occasion. Im usually a medium. The medium fit me fine. Im 5'4" it fit me well, length wise in heels.... no zipper, plenty stretch. The spilt was a nice touch. Read more

This was a nice dress for the price however I did not keep it due to how it looked on me in the midsection area. If you are conscious about your stomach and wearing items that are too tight, I would not purchase it. Other than that I loved the way it looked.
