For someone that is 4'11, the length hits a couple of inches above ankle length, which is what I was expecting. I'm usually a size small in American sizing, but decided to size up to a medium, which was a good thing because the band is a bit snug. The material is 100% polyester (not sure if the dye or the fabric itself is causing this). The material is slightly rough material, which is mostly an issue on the waistband, so if you have sensitive skin, you probably should not purchase this. If you plan to tuck in your shirts into the waistband, this may not be an issue for you. There is almost like a double layer to these pants because of the extra fabric used to make the pants look more like a skirt, so I'm not really concerned about whether or not the pants is see through, but I bought a dark green color, so it may simply just not be noticeable. Pockets are a little flimsy. I would not put anything heavy in them, like a phone, for a long period of time. If you're looking for pants that look like a skirt, this is a pretty decent find. Though I haven't washed them yet, so not sure how these would hold up in the washer. Read more
