I have mixed feelings about these pants. First impression was they are a weird thin papery plasticy crinkly feeling strangely not soft type of material that I can best describe as feeling extremely cheap. It has a very slight texture that visually reminds me of linen which actually does look kinda nice if you are looking at but when you are touching it, it is reminiscent of prison jump suit material. But one thing I will say is the material seems surprisingly sturdy and stretchy. The legs were longer than normal which is not good for me personally but otherwise it seemed true to size. Once I put them on, they were better than expected. First, they are actually comfortable in every other way besides the not soft fabric. All parts of it are comfortably stretchy, I feel it does meet the standard of being comfortable. I also realized you could put a nice blazer over this and use it for office wear or you could also use it for pajamas in comfort, so it has flexible uses, could be good for something like traveling when you need inexpensive multi-use items. As much as the material is not very soft, it's ok enough that you don't think about that when wearing it. This thin material would only be good for nice weather or you could use it as the bottom layer of pants if layering heavier pants on top in winter (use them like long johns). I LOVE these pants! I am 5’11” so they fit more like capris on me, but I still love them. They are so comfortable and have a lot of stretch without being clingy. I like that these pants have an elastic waistband and zipper pockets. I have worn and washed them 4 or 5 times and there is not any pilling. I have worn them to work in place of my usual scrubs and I prefer the comfort of these pants. I have also worn out and the pants are cute with a tee and tennis shoes. These pants are lightweight and breathable. They have two zippered, deep pockets and an adjustable drawstring waist. They have kind of a “crepe” feel and have a looser fit. I’m not sure what is meant by “light joint cushioning” in the description from the seller unless they mean that you have room to move - bend, seat, etc. -which you do. The stitching is good and the length is adequate. I am 5’6” but my legs are a little longer than some so I always like a little more length. They are comfortable. The wrinkles from packaging didn’t come out in the wash but did come out easily with my iron on the steam setting. Overall I’m not sure they are a great value for the money for me personally.
