I ordered these boots in the brown, in a size 8.5 for my daughter. She has long legs & liked that these went up to just under her knees..she said that they are true to size & that they fit her well. They also fit her calves without being too tight. She liked the color as the brown was not too light or too dark. She wore them for night out & they were quite comfortable and didn’t hurt her feet at all. That was without “breaking them in”. The boots are made of a faux leather & the soles are slip resistant. These are very cute boots! Now these aren't the most expensive boots you can buy so you can't expect to get the quality of the most expensive boots. The way that the seams are it looks like they are probably glued on so it makes me wonder how long these are going to last and how many seasons these are going to last but they are really nice boots and you just pull them on and they're very comfortable. I like that the heels not too too high. And I feel like they are wide enough around the calves. I know when I was heavier I had a lot of problems with wearing boots and I wasn't able to because the calves were never wide enough but I've lost a lot of weight and now they fit so I'm excited to be able to wear these types of boots now. So they're very nice boots again but I don't know how great of quality they are but I think they are worth the price that are being charged for them. Read more
These Boots are very true to size. I wear a size 7, and these fit. My feet are wide across the bridge, but I have skinny ankles so it's really hard to find shoes for me. These are a bit loose in the ankle and my heel slides up and down in the back, but there's enough room that it's not rubbing, if that makes sense. I usually wear boots with zippers so I get a better fit in the ankle. The heels on these feels super chunky and stable and don't hurt my knees. The material is your typical imitation leather. The little loops to pull them up are great also. I think these would be adorable with thigh high socks or knee high socks that are like chunky and stick out the top, for me there's plenty of room inside for big thick socks. Read more
These are a satifying and comfortable boot. I don't wear pointy or high heeled shoes and pinching is commonly an issue but not for these. The toe box is generous all around. As there is no zipper there is a snugness in the ankle area but it is not uncomfortable or restrictive and I appreciate it being somewhat fitted and supportive there. The upper calf area is a bit more loose but I think the style is still nice and not overly baggy. I almost always were leg warmers with a boot like this and expect that will fit nicely. The material is buttery soft outside and inside is also comfortably soft but not fluffy. I needed the straps on the sides at the top to pull the boots on and they worked really well for that. The tread is a grabby rubber so even though the tread isn't deep they feel secure to walk around in. So lots of pluses on these and I am sure I will use them alot and be able to wear winter socks as well. My cons are just about construction and longevity of these. The sole looks like one solid molded piece and I cannot see any stitching attaching the upper. I am not a cobbler but I have had enough boots come apart to guess this means the boot is held together with glue only. Faux leather boots I have previously owned only lasted me a season or two being in wny salty snowy winters and I expect this pair will not enjoy those elements much longer either. I will be more carful to wipe them clean of salt and hope that helps with deterioration of the leather and seems. 5 stars if they last me more than a year or two. Read more
This is going to be my new favorite pair of high boots. I'm so impressed by the quality and comfort of these boots. The insole is cushioned, so it's super comfy. They're also removable, so if you use different insoles, you can switch them. The inside of the boots is padded and soft, which offers that extra warmth. The leather looks genuine! literally feels like a luxury brand pair of expensive boots. They fit true to size, and even have that extra wiggle room for when you wear thick socks. The media could not be loaded. These boots are exceptionally stylish. I particularly appreciate that they are crafted from leather and feature a chunky heel. Although they are not your typical zip-up boots, they are designed to be pulled on. They feature two hooks at the top, allowing them to be easily pulled on much like traditional cowboy boots, as they do not have zippers. The interior comfort is superb, providing a comfortable fit around the entire leg. They reach my knee and fit perfectly for style, and the quality is excellent. I was so excited to receive this product for free through the Amazon Vine program, but this review reflects my honest opinion and these knee-high boots are stylish, comfortable, and perfect for fall and winter outfits. The chunky heel makes them easy to walk in, and the platform adds extra stability without feeling heavy. They pull on smoothly and fit snugly around the calf without being too tight. However if you have wider calfs these may not work for you.
