Very pretty boots but super wide calf
I was very excited for these boots. They would be so cute with a fall outfit. I ordered a size 8.5 because I always want to leave space for socks. Im usually an 8. They are a very pretty patent burgundy color and look great. Not cheap. But when I put them on, I was immediately disappointed. The size fit my foot perfectly. But the legs are huge. There is no shape to them. Just goes from the foot and goes straight up with no contour but my legs were swimming inside the calf area. If you generally need boots with a wider calf, these may work quite well for you. I tend to have an average or slightly slimmer calf, so I just looked absurd in them. No way. I offered them to my sister because she ofter requires a wider calf. Hopefully she can wear these because they are stylish and pretty. I just think the calf is much too wide for the size of the shoe.
