They call them riding boots, but they definitely have more of a dressy vibe. The heel is higher than a traditional riding boot, but it’s still comfortable and easy to walk in. You get the extra height with the block heel without feeling like you’ll topple over. I ordered the brown, and I love how the color fades slightly darker toward the toe—it gives them such an elegant, high-end look. They’re really flattering on the legs and go perfectly with so many outfits. I could see these working with jeans, leggings, or even long dresses for a boho look. You could easily wear them year-round…summer with shorts, or fall and winter with layers. The material has a slight stretch that helps it adapt to different leg sizes, and there’s a small buckle near the ankle you can adjust as you like. The toe box is slightly squared off, which looks sharp (and gives your toes a little extra room!). I’m usually around a 7.5, but I ordered an 8 so I’d have room for thicker socks in winter. That was the right call—these are super comfortable and there’s no tightness in the toes. Overall, these are beautiful, versatile boots that look like they’re worth what you paid for them. These boots look great in person! The faux leather could almost pass as real and the buckle is very cute. I don’t wear very many high heeled shoes and the chunky heels make these pretty wearable even for me. I wear a size 8 and these fit just as expected. If you’re someone that looks for boots with wide calves, these might not work for you. I have pretty average-to-large size calves and these are a little bit of a tight fit. Very nice boots. They had no smell even though they are synthetic. The fit perfectly and are true to size. They are comfortable to wear and look very nice on. I like the buckle at the ankle. I have narrow calves and these boots are not so loose at the top as to make them unpleasant to wear. They will certainly fit someone with average - large calves, but so often I can fit 2 of my legs in the top of one boot, these are not like that thankfully. The heels arent too high and I feel they are fairly stable even for use in slush etc. $62 is a fair price to pay for these boots and I do think they are a good value. These boots are so cute and perfect for fall. They're made really well and come in a cute floral box. The chunky heel is a nice touch helping the less than graceful person stay upright. They are really stiff though so I've stuffed old tee shirts in them to try and stretch them a little. They have absolutely no give right now. Once they have a little more give they'll be really comfortable. They're also great if you have wide feet since the toe is squared. You get a good quality boot for the price. Read more
