I almost always prefer matte finishes over glossy ones, so I only had one pair of glossy leather boots compared to 4 matte ones lol. Since I recently broke the heels on my old boots, I requested this pair as a replacement. My expectation for affordable boots at this price range is that they last about a year or two with regular use, and I think this pair will definitely hold up for that long. They are comfortable to walk in, and the chunky block heel gives enough height without feeling unstable. The pointed toe shape looks sleek, and the side zipper makes it easy to put on and take off. I do wish the shaft were a bit narrower for my slimmer calves, especially since I like wearing skirts and prefer a more fitted look around the leg. But the slightly roomier fit means I can wear leggings inside the boots comfortably, which makes them practical for colder weather. The material and stitching look decent for the price range. It is not the most exceptional deal I have ever gotten, but it is still a solid value in terms of overall quality versus cost. If you want a stylish and comfortable glossy boot for everyday outfits, this pair is a good choice for the price. Quality seems pretty standard on these. They are not for wide calf, wide feet, or really anything wide at all though. I’m a size 6, normal calf and foot size and I just couldn’t get my foot in. My daughter had better luck. The brown color is nice, especially for fall, I felt the heel was a bit high on these, but that’s just me. The material looks more like the faux leather they are than real leather…. Once on they aren’t uncomfortable; but not something you’d want to walk around in all day long either. Really nice boots. I like the wide heeled look for a better, balanced base. Made from man-made leather, the material is stretchy soft and feels lined. I like that the boots have a side zipper to allow ease of putting your feet in, and getting them on. It would have been nice to have some elastic sewn around the calf area to allow for adjusting the width if needed, as some folks like myself have larger calves. Anyways, they fit ok but feels really snug around the calf area for me, due to the width of boots at the calf. I needed a wider calf width to get a better fit. Read more

This is such a sleek pair of boots and I think they're going to pair so we'll with my brown outfits for the fall. The material isn't leather but it does look like synthetic material so if you like to leave people guessing, this pair of boots might not be for you. They are comfortable and hold up in the rain and wipe clean so I guess that's a plus. I wore these to work for 8+ hours and have had foot surgery in the past but these were fine to wear for the entire day. Read more

The leather is fine grained and supple. The seams are well stitched. The color is more of a chestnut brown. The insole is well cushioned and feels as though the boots would be comfortable to walk in. The upper part of the boot is lined with a soft neoprene that not only adds comfort but also insulates well for colder weather. The lining also makes the boot easy to put on, as does the zipper that opens the boot from a few inches above the ankle down to the sole. The heel is 3-4 inches high so plan your outfits for a taller look. The boots hug your calves snugly enough to keep from slipping down but not so tightly as to be uncomfortable. They lean toward dress casual and would definitely complement a dressier outfit.
