This is a nice, simple belt and a good value for the price. Sizing is accurate for me. I ordered the small (24"–30"), and it fits my 29" waist well with a few holes to spare. It even includes a small hole punch tool, which is a surprisingly useful bonus if you need to add another hole for a perfect fit. The material is PU (faux) leather, but it’s smooth, flexible, and looks quite nice. The belt has fairly clean stitching along the edges (there are some little frays on the inside that you can see in my close-up photo) and the gold buckle is attractive, although it is quite lightweight and has a brushed finish, not shiny. It's not fancy, but it looks nice enough to wear with jeans, dresses, or casual outfits. The keeper loop (the loop that holds the belt end), instead of being stitched, is secured with a small metal staple/rivet, which you can see in my close-up photo. This is fairly common on inexpensive belts, but it does give away the budget construction a little bit. That said, the belt still looks nice overall and feels well made for around $13, which is a reasonable price. Once upon a time the term "leather" meant "from the hide of an animal - usually a cow." Anything else was considered fake and substandard. But that is no longer the case. This XILTAEN women's leather belt is PU "leather" (i.e., synthetic), but it is beautiful nonetheless. It is a width that matches jeans or dresses equally well. The edges of the belt are really stitched (with thread - not an embossed pattern of stitching), and the belt buckle is a pleasing brushed metal finish. The holes are punched every inch, and it is long enough so that I don't have to only use the very end hole. It is the perfect, basic black belt - and I will get plenty of wear out of it. I think that the description of this product is a tiny bit misleading, given that the header at the top of the item description says "leather". The belt is not leather. To be clear, I wouldn't expect a leather belt to be priced at $13, so I think it's fairly obvious that it's not leather, but I also think the item description should be clearer. PU often wrinkles and cracks and peels after just a few months of wearing daily. At this time the belt looks ok. It has a few warps on the inside but not yet on the outside. The hardware is made from very low quality materials. It feels hollow. It looks like matte brass, not like gold. I’m not a fan but other people might like it. It came with a hole punch tool, that’s a good idea since several of the pre punched holes were not completed and I had to finish punching through. Completing holes was not something I had expected. The belt is very inexpensive at $12, a low budget and low quality item. I would not get this item/set again . Read more
This is excellent so far and here's why: 1. Sturdy yet flexible 2. Appearance matches the photo if not it looks better. 3. Buckles securely and looks sleek while being comfortable and functional. 4. This belt looks just like it does in the pictures and adds a nice touch to outfits. The gold pin buckle is elegant and pairs well with jeans, pants, or dresses. The leather feels decent and it does the job, though the quality does not exceed expectations. There is a metal latch on the underside that cheapens the quality, however you cannot see it when it’s worn. Also it comes with a belt hole punch which I really appreciate. This belt is awesome! I've been wanting a belt with a gold buckle to wear to work. This one is perfect. It is an amazing value, looks like genuine leather, fits great and is comfortable, and looks beautiful. The gold in the buckle is a great color, not brassy or fake looking. The PU leather has a slight texture to it, and is nice and thick. I've been looking at belts like these at stores, and they are expensive and don't look as good as this one! So happy I ordered it!
