I am 5'7" 235 lbs and wear an 8.5 wide shoe. I ordered the 8.5 wide. The boots look fine, actually cute. However, the only reason I ordered them was because they were a wide size. They are definitely NOT A WIDE SIZE. I could barely get this on my bare foot let alone with a sock or anything else. It was very narrow and too snug on the toe (not an 8.5) and painful to wear. Also, wide shoes and boots usually mean the ankle/calf opening is a bit larger too. This one was super tight around my ankle which made it even more uncomfortable to wear. Would not recommend if you need a wide size because even though it says wide, it is not. If you don't need a wide size, I'd still recommend ordering a half to one size up as they seem to run very small. After a bit of back and forth with the vendor I was able to get a full refund. They offered a 30% refund, then a 70% refund. In the end they did refund me the full price and I was not required to return the product. Read more
What a stylish pair of black half boots! They are a short heel which makes them comfortable while not being flat. They look great dressed up or dressed down. I love them with jeans and a sweater. These were very hard on the bottom (no cushion). The soles do are not very tough or durable. They let you feel every rock, bump, lump, and crevice. Not very comfortable to walk in unless you add insoles. The top pf the arch is a good height. The height of the heel is good; the material is nice. The buckle strap back of heel detail is a cute touch. The zippers work great and are a good quality. Overall, they are cute little booties that work if you add some appropriate insoles. Read more
