I will start by saying that I liked this shirt so much that I bought two more. The colors, cut and fabric look expensive. Other button down shirts I’ve purchased tend to look boxy and if they fit in the body they’re too tight in the bust. Not these! (I have broad shoulders and am long waisted.) I ended up ordering a medium for a more fitted look. I usually wear a large. The longer shirttail hem is flattering when worn untucked. The longer length is perfect for me and the fabric is a nice weight so it can be tucked in without a lot of bulk. The first wash I used delicate cycle and put them in the dryer on air only for about 10 minutes. They did require ironing. Second time I allowed them to dry completely and they came out of the dryer wrinkle free. Be aware that the buttons are small and a little difficult to fasten. If you have arthritis it might be a problem for you. UPDATE: I now own four of these shirts and am happy to say that the sizing, quality, cut, and feel is consistent between all of them. Love this shirt! You won't regret buying it if you're looking for quality! Hard to describe but it's not your average cotton button down, it has movement, the way it lays against you is non restricting in arms, neck and bust. This material has a weight to it that feels expensive and high quality. I didn't need to wear an undershirt with it which I do with most all of my other blouses. When I came across the listing for this blouse, I really liked the colors and pattern of the rayon fabric. I ordered it without hesitation. It's a nice variation from my solid and striped button down blouses. When I opened the package, I loved the feel of the rayon fabric. Next to all cotton, all rayon is my favorite. However, the XL was huge on my 5'9'', 180 lbs. pear-shaped frame. I returned the XL and order an L. I'm very excited to say the L fits me beautifully, even in the hips. I'm looking forward to wearing this blouse with my brand new jeans. In fact, I think I'll iron it tonight to wear to church tomorrow. (My church is very casual, but I respect my pastor and the house of God too much to dress in old jeans and an old looking top.) This is perfect blouse for the office. It's pretty and soft and different. Typically I am a size Large and this shirt fit fine,except in bust area. I'm 38DD and was extremely tight. If you have boobs you'll want to size up. Read more
These blouses are fabulous! I purchased three. All of them washed well, then I dried them on medium for 15 minutes, then hangup with no ironing needed, Many other rayon/viscose blouses do need some ironing but not these I’ll love them! I need 100% rayon, or 100% viscose, with sometimes 5% spandex. Any kind of polyester blend itches my skin. I purchased a medium, my normal size, I am 5‘7“, 141 pounds. Moderately broad shoulders, 3 7B. Blouse fits well with a small gap between Buttons at the bust line, I sew, so I just added another button hole and button! Perfect! Read more
I bought this blouse specifically because it was 100% viscose and viscose is such a soft fabric. However, this blouse feels like it has some polyester in it as it is a little bit more stiff than I had expected. It also is a little tighter around the bust area than I would normally feel in my size. The color was spot on from the picture and it looks well made. Hopefully it will soften up a little after the first wash. Overall, I feel it is a good buy for the money. Read more
