This sweater is a beautiful rich red and ran true to size. I normally wear an XL in tops, and the XL fit perfectly. The little rhinestone details are a nice touch without being over the top. The fabric is a bit thicker than I expected, which gave it a more plush, luxury feel than some thinner sweaters out there. It said hand wash recommended, but I did machine wash in a garment bag, and tumble dry on low (also in the garment bag). If you're lazy like me, know that you can machine wash and dry, I didn't experience any shrinking (this time! Shrinking can happen on any wash!), but the fibers did fuzz up some in a way that probably wouldn't happen if you hand washed. Next time I probably will take the trouble to hand wash, or at least lay flat to dry. The sweater did bleed a little, but not as much as I expected, and it was easily contained by a color catcher in the wash, I even was brave and washed some whites with it and didn't see any tinge of pink). There was a crease in the sweater from being folded in the bag, but that came out in the wash. My only (minor) quibbles are that the sweater wasn't quite as long in the body as I expected from the photos, but it could be because the model is slimmer than I am (the sleeves are still plenty long enough) and there is no fabric content or care tag on the inside. On the one hand, that means no itchy tag on my skin, on the other I'll have to be extra conscious remembering care instructions since they aren't directly in the sweater, and I've already forgotten the fiber content since I threw the tags away. I bought this sweater for my wife to wear out during the fall evenings. The sweater itself is very soft and thick enough to provide warmth during late fall and early winter. The cut and fit of the sweater is also very trendy and can easily be paired with yoga pants or a pair of jeans. The color and sizing are also spot on. Also, after washing in the gentle cycle, the sweater retained its shape. Therefore, I believe this is a great buy!!! Read more

Very nice sweater. It is very soft, not too thick or heavy and is a beautiful wine red shade with some low key "sparkly" highlights in the material. It's soft and the design lines are the same red as the sweater with emphasis based on sparkle. It leans toward holiday wear for that reason, but it's subtle enough that you're not restricted. It was well-proportioned and true to size as related to the size guide. I usually select the size based on the bust measurement and that worked fir this sweater. Arm length is average (good for me) and the wrist and waist pull in tight enough to show but not so hard that it's uncomfortable. The arms could easily be pushed up to rest like 3/4 sleeves without stopping your circulation. The only thing I noted as a negative is that it's a sweater cut like a sweatshirt, so it kind of bulks out at the waist. It's probably great if you're pear-shaped or have a pair of pants/skirt that give you a muffin-top. But it's not going to help.with the illusion of a tucked-in waist. Hopefully, you can see it by the shape in the Pic. Sometimes sweaters settle after a few washings, so we'll see. For now, it's a shapely shirt to wear on bloat days. Read more
