This is a cute sweater dress. The fabric is soft and warm. The dress hugs the body comfortably. Not too short. The ruffles are a fun touch that adds a bit of holiday flair the the dress. The sleeves take a bit to get used to; however, I was pleased that they were short enough that my hand extended beyond the ruffle - something I run into often, having shorter arms. This could be dressed up with a belt or jewelry to really create an upscale look. The main flaw I found was in several places where the ruffle edging ends, little plastic pieces were sticking out and kept poking me. Never in my life have I seen this type of hem on any other item of clothing worn by me or anyone else - and, I LOVE IT. So much love. I especially adore the decision to use that same hems on each of the wrists to complement the skirt. The dress is very bodycon but the knit material is also very thick so the lines aren’t as bad as they could be. Unfortunately I think the skirt is too short for my 5’9” frame - which sucks because I love short skirts, but this seems to fall on the wrong side of the line. I tried using a blazer to add a hint of respectability but somehow I think that made it worse. Read more
